That's why I can't wait for TES V: no matter where it is set, i'm sure we will get a detailed look into another culture with characters just a memorable as Morrowind's. The Skooma-addicted blade, the kajiiti orc, the Liar, Big Head, and even Vivek, they'll be replaced by better characters.

....................Nah I doubt it. I wish but nothing is better than Originals. Unless if their different in their own way.

Well when your on a high level a vampire bites your person as they sleep and your automatically a vampire. So i went to the Alters and used cure disease potion but it did't work. Also theirs a mission in the game where you can be turned back to normal, but it does not work on Play Station 3, the Blood grass part is bugged.Trust me I tried everything!

Get European version of the game .

For me it's Khajiit , Argonian , High Elf and then Orc I have only played those races.
Khajiit-3 times
Argonian-1 time
High Elf - 1 time
Orc- time ( make interesting Conjurers)

I'm almost always a Wood Elf or Imperial. I've dabbed around with the other ones but they don't really fit my style of playing

My favorite is high elf cuz they have lots of magicka and I always love to play as a mage( never get tired actually ) plus they r the smartest and the most advanced race.
but I also love Imperials cuz theyr the most balanced race

Dunmer, Bosmer and Argonians are my personal favorites. I guess the reason why the Dark Elves are winning in this poll is because of how easy it is to mold them into any class. I've always liked Argonains, since they were fun to play as, and I especially loved their saurian appearance in Morrowind (What can I say, I was crazy for dinosaurs as a kid).

I don't care much for boots really, so that never bothered me, but the inability to wear closed helmets kind of stunk..Now with Bosmer, I used to dislike them as well (hi fargoth), but when I started a Bosmer character I began to learn more about the lore behind them. I've now spent the longest time in any TES game with this character, getting up to level 49.

I generally create hybrid classes and seldom play as pure "hack n' slash" fighter types, so for me it's generally the more well-rounded races such as Bosmer, Bretons, Dunmer, and Imperials. Generally the Bosmer are for Arena/Daggerfall as they've only gotten progressively more obnoxious with each later installment in the series. Still, they can be an amusing sort to play as, with Imperials and Bretons being middle-ground and Dunmer being at the very top of the "badass" meter, but I suppose in such a heavily Morrowind-biased place as this everybody already knew that.

Hopefully TES V will provide as much insight and intrigue into another racial culture as Morrowind did, and then we'll be seeing less unwaivering bias towards the Dunmer. :P

If TESV provides lots of interesting lore on Nords, they'll give those Ash-Skins a run for their money!

I've resurrected this thread,..

Preference of races, from most to least.

1. Khajiit
2. Argonian
3. Redguard
4. Orc
5. Dark Elf
6. Imperial
7. Bosmer
8. Breton
9. Nord
10. High Elf

I don't hate any of them...can't understand why anyone would (except maybe those snooty High Elves  )

At worst, I'm fairly apathetic after Orcs.

Redguards FTW,I actually think the same as them like:magic is for cheaters who don't have any honour. But I also never make one of my redguards an archer because I think archers are too afraid to run at you and to get a few wounds(but only when I'm a redguard because I love playing as a wood elf archer)

Redguards ftw. Then Nords (I personally think the Nords look the best, esp. as they tend to have ruddy noses and cheeks - which I put down to a mixture of blizzards and booze :foodndrink: )

For me it's khajiit. I always prefer non-humans, and as such beast races were a no-brainer for me. I don't care much for argonians though

My favorite are the Imperials becuase I think if I lived in Tamriel they are the closet physically to what I am. I'm more of jack of all trades person, not super fast but not slow, not super strong but not weak, and I have tanner skin.

Orcs for me. It's fun to save the world as the race everyone despises.

Psh, Dunmer all the way. Made no sense to me in Morrowind that the reincarnated Nerevar would be anything but a Dunmer (even though Nerevar was technically a Chimer).

Besides, everyone who played Morrowind knows that Dunmer are the cooler race. Well, they were until Oblivion gave them an incessant whine.

You mean until Oblivion castrated emasculated them.

I almost always play as a Redguard. I do however play as a High Elf when making a mage character and a Nord when playing a Heavily armored knight.

"Redguards are so exotic, don't you think?"

I like being a Dunmer the most.
My first race was Nord, so I've always had a thing for Nords.
I also like being an Argonian when I'm playing a rebelious "take down the MAN!" kind of character.
