Khajiit

I really don't get what the hype over the dark elf is about. In my opinon their probably the most useless race next to imperials.

Think about the sickest looking class, that can be any class desired, that comes out to be an Argonian ( for me ).Argonians make great mages, assassins, thiefs, and warriors. Over my time in TES games, Argonians where quite wierd at first, in Morrawind I decided That I hated Dark Elves, and they used to be my favorite race. Argonians where just cool. I hated how Dunmer make argonians, Khajiit, and Orcs ( ORCS-Actually I don't care about them, even though their beast in Morrawind).Argonians are just awesome for me, and I personally Know that will always be my first race in any TES game to come, Its my tradition.

These are my Oblivion characters-(not labeled by names, only by race)
Argonians-29
Bretons-4
High Elves-7
Dark Elves-1
Imperials-14
Khajiit-2
Orcs-2
Nords-3
RedGuards-4
Bosmer-17

*My highest was a level 42 Argonian.
*I have so many files because of how many where wasted with un-curable vampirism on The Play Station 3.
*Only 30% of my files are successful.
*I have always kept count on my files, and their classes.
*Im sorry if you are someone who read this and suffered it.

you know you can cure the vampirsim with a simple cure disease potion. Or just visiting an alter.

I typically play as a mage, so Breton for me. I will play as an Imperial if I'm going to be a stealth based character, but if I am going to be anything else other than a mage or thief/assassin then I play as a Dark Elf.

I prefer Dark Elves and Nords. The first TES character I made was a Nord in Morrowind who tended to like using hammers to bash the hell out of stuff. Then later I tried a Dark Elf in Morrowind and have developed a preference for Nords n Dark Elves.. I have never played a Khajiit, Argonian, Orc or Redguard but may someday... :)

Well when your on a high level a vampire bites your person as they sleep and your automatically a vampire. So i went to the Alters and used cure disease potion but it did't work. Also theirs a mission in the game where you can be turned back to normal, but it does not work on Play Station 3, the Blood grass part is bugged.Trust me I tried everything!

I like to play as an Argonian, simply because my first character was one so that race is pretty much my "go-to" race for any character that isn't meant to be overpowered like an Altmer mage or a Bosmer archer.

Haha! I've played an Altmer mage and a Bosmer Archer before. I've found them both to be entertaining for a while, but I soon grew bored with them.

I'll have to go with Nords, but Dunmer would be my second. But being of Norse descent, I have a strong connection with the Noble Savage, so Nord all the way!

I hate to ruin your fun but Argonians will probably completely conquer Morrowind. They already started invaded, and guess what. Since argonians are so nice, they kill the snotty Dunmer, instead of becoming slaves. This is true. From the Infernal City!!! :P :P :P :P

I like Khajiit. They make interesting mages.

Yes i also enjoy that fact that Khajiits just look so funny when they're clueless. I like them because their like the funniest race

Way back when I was 13 I rented Morrowind and the first race I played was an orc and it took me two hours to get to Balmora, and I was like this world is so huge. It took me quite a while to find out what that big daddy long leg like creature was for so all I did was walk. When I actually got the game I played a Dark Elf and was hooked.

D&D dark elf worshop combined with general Morrowind worshop, really. Can't stand the Morrowind version of 'em myself - gimmie a Breton or a Nord or an Orc or a Redguard any day of the week.

It's mainly because of the culture and depth that goes along with them. The morrowind culture is really like no culture we have here on Earth. The ashlander tribes, the tribunal worship, great houses. It's all so intriguing.

Ashlanders are actually based on the Mongolians, where as the Tribunal based Dunmer are more Persian/Babylonian in cultural styling.

That's why I can't wait for TES V: no matter where it is set, i'm sure we will get a detailed look into another culture with characters just a memorable as Morrowind's. The Skooma-addicted blade, the kajiiti orc, the Liar, Big Head, and even Vivek, they'll be replaced by better characters.

Dunmer seem to have a striking similarity to R.A. Salvatore's portrayal of Dark Elves. So Drizzt Do'Urden is the reason I go for Dunmer.
And I've seen others that go for Nords because of Wulfgar, and Imperials because of Entreri.
