Pretty self-explanatory.

Please share your reasoning and why.

The Master. I don't think there needs to be an explanation. I do take offence to the word villain, I am going with antagonist.

Richardson and the Calculator tied for second.

Villain is in the eye of the beholder.

I am voting for the Capital Wasteland Enclave despite loving them.

However, I would be tempted to vote "Other" though for Doctor Von Braun. Let's face it, the head of Tranquility Lane is probably the singularly most disturbed individual in the entirety of Fallout.

Given the competition, that's saying something.

Edit:

Another vote would be for VaultTech.

Nah Von Braun wasn't nearly on the same level as the Master. but I guess he wasn't delusional.. the fact you could talk him out of the Unity by showing him the errors in his logic.

.. But I have to agree VaultTech is pretty bad

For pure in game combat I went with the MZ aliens. Only the ones in the battle suits though. They dished out damage fast, and took some punishment.

Close second was the tribals of Point Lookout. They would end you fast and sometimes seemed indestructable.

These two groups killed me the most.

I didn t play old fo so I never faced many of these challenges.

Villain? There are no villains in Fallout.

Take the Master. He did what he did for what he believed was humanity's own good.

I'm not sure that most villains in fiction are as totally unmotivated as to do evil things just for kicks and giggles.

Von Braun, maybe. The Joker, yes.

However, are VaultTech not villains because they were just trying to make a profit from their experiments? (Presumably being paid by the Enclave).

I confess, all I could think was the quest was direly lacking an option to say, "Screw you guys. I'm out of here."

Well not really, whilst we know that the Enclave had them built (because surely they designed them for their experiments) there's little chance that outside of key individuals anyone else knew outside of the Enclave; otherwise they would have been killed.

My favourite enemy is the NCR, spent so long hunting those sons-of-[censored]es down, planting C4 under Colonel Moore's Desk :chaos: Get more of a kick out of killing Paladins though, as the common NCR grunts are really just in the wrong place at the wrong time; innocent really oh well .

Lyons and his little boy scouts. They should be crucified for being traitors to the Brotherhood of Steel.

So did Hitler............. Anyone who plans on killing mass numbers of innocent people is an evil villain. God, justice, or simple psychic rage are not good excuses to slaughter mass amounts of innocent people.

Just because it sounds good in their heads does not make it ok.

Master didn't plan on killing mass numbers of innocent people.
His plans was to turn as many into super mutants as possible, which while there was a certain mortality rate he still didn't "plan" on killing them.
And then let the rest of the humans that are alive live out their lifes under Unity control but be prohibited from procreation.

But his plans were never to just "murder everyone".

The Master's plan was to turn everybody into Super Mutants as they are better adapted to survive in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Except that they arn't that much better seeing as how the the most powerful organisation that we have seen so far, the NCR, was founded by a quarter, at max, of the people from Vault 15; the other 3/4s founding the Khans, Vipers and Jackels. But this is not the place for that discussion.
