Favorite Weapons You've Made?

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 4:24 am

So, question. What are some of your favorite weapons you have "made" from the base of a weapon you've found? My current personal favorite weapon I've created was originally found in "University Point" (NOT random loot. It's always there). I changed it's name to UP77 Gatling Rifle after changing the laser rifle more into an Automatic Rifle. Why I did this? It has the effect "Unlimited ammo capacity"... Basically, I made a rifle version of the Gatling Laser Gun which will never stop firing until I run out of ammo... I am having so much fun with it.

Plasma Sniper Rifle.

Just in general,

I loved sniping deathclaws in NV with my Rob-Co plasma rifle back in NV (took a long time to line up my shots, though.) So getting to actually build a plasma rifle with sniping capabilities was a dream come true.

I'll need to try that now... Time to go Gunner-hunting for supplies and ammo!

I like Kellogs .44 with a scope..appropriately renamed Blackhawk....but since I usually find myself running into groups of raiders and such, I really heavily on this combat shotgun I found...forgot the original name, but it does 25% more damage...plus fully modded with a silencer...it's pretty awesome...I also like my combat rifle so far, but lack the perk to get everything out of it..

I have an Institute Rifle one of my characters added beam splitter and a couple other mods to. It's not super powerful or anything, but I like the idea of a laser shotgun.

My pimped out 10mm i found in the vault. Besides me being sentimental i just love the 10mm pistol, too weak to still use it now but i love that little guy, wish i could just keep improving it and use it the whole game.

Well, I can't post pics, but I have a pair of hunting rifles I named "Reach Out" and "Touch Someone" the first is scoped, does 66dmg and will do more when I upgrade to the .50 receiver, then the other is an unscoped rifle with a reflex sight that does 81 plus 15 explosive. I put Marksman stocks on both and they're my primary wilderness weapons.

I don't think you should name it the names of the cities that were obliterated. That's just wrong. Instead maybe something that applies to its original name? How about... Big Twins?

I honestly would love to use this on my own sniper. But .50 bullets are much rarer to find than .308... And because of this, my .44 revolver does more damage than my sniper (and my sniper even have a +25% damage boost).

It's nothing special, just a fully modified 10mm legendary with the Lucky modifier. Large clip, advanced reciever, marksman grip, reflex sight, and a silencer.

It'll be way underpowered in the long run, but I've had it forever, and it's served me well.

I really wish they had weapon racks and armor dummies to display ones cherished items

I too have loved my plasma sniper rifle, with an overcharger and reflex scope because I strongly dislike the higher-end scopes.. Just with that the Plasma weapon had a reflex-dot instead of the circle. Easier to make pinpoint shots when I'm not fighitng a big green circle that obscures half of my target at longer ranges.

In my house in sanctuary I made one level just for an armory and built 2 tables on 3 sides. One side is armor where there is a armor workbench and 2 tables with legendary armor piled on. On the right I have legendary weapons and a weapons workbench and the middle is all my legendary and kickass heavy weapons. I'll post a pic soon. Pretty epic setup

I'm a pistol and shotgun guy so my favs are a fully upgraded Deliverer and legendary double barrel that has faster firing and reload times.

I've got Scrounger at level 2 so I have found a bunch of it. I'm probably sitting on 200 some odd rounds of it. And I only use it for true sniping from high up and far off so it doesn't see a ton of use. I think it'll be worthwhile. But that .44 is awesome and I plan on building one up too.

Stealth Blade Combat Knife with maxed Ninja and melee damage. Also, General Chao's Revenge, electrified and serrated. Only 2 melee weapons I carry around with me. Other than that, I have a maxed modified 10mm Pistol, Incendiary Silenced Recon Sniper Rifle and my maxed out Combat Shotgun. I'm nearly at level 40 and I've taken no firearms-based damage perks, other than Ninja.

If I find anything difficult, I'll usually bait it towards something else and kill the survivors. I was quite impressed to watch a standard Mirelurk Hunter kill a Legendary Deathclaw. The Mirelurk Hunter still had over 50% HP afterwards too. Damn Crawfish is a tough SOB, but I boxxed him to death anyway. That head ram and double snip combo is pretty deadly.

You know, I love how most melee type enemies seem to have more fleshed out movesets now. Timing your blocks is a welcome mechanic too.

Well, I'm still on my first run, and this is a stealth character.

One of my go to weapons my Deliverer. Usually takes most enemies down in 2-3 shots.

My suppressed .308 that adds 10 points of energy damage.

My .50 cal that doubles damage to any target at full health.

My new favorite toy (for use when the [censored] hits the fan) is my 5.56 assault rifle that does an additional 50 points of radiation damage.

All weapons upgraded with rank 4 Gun Nut mods (or highest available).

I found a mighty automatic laser pistol and modified it into an extremely powerful semi-auto laser rifle. Everywhere I go, you can find me by the piles of ashes I leave in my wake.

Do you not think that Radiation damage is kind of a negative, or at least pointless?

I mean, it brings Ghouls back from the dead/heals them and does minimal damage to any wasteland creatures and robots.

I have a Shotgun that does Radiation damage and I just shelved it after I saw a Glowing One resurrect 8 of his friends.
