Favourate Race : The Elder Scrolls Series Discussion

Hi, I looked around this forum to see waht races people liked, but couldn't find a thread saying their favourate, so I thought I would start one. :biggrin:

Mine is probably the Dark Elf, just because they're so cool, Or the Khajjit because I like cats.

Favourate? Is this some local variant spelling? Otherwise, favorite is what you are looking for.

Also, this kind of topic is best kept in the general chat section.

Since it's the lore forum, I think Redguards have a pretty cool background. And if Jedi-Planetcracker-Swordstances make no sense whatsoever, I will add that to the crazy idea of supermagical Nordic vocal cords, complete with spitfire and teleportation. The new game is based on it.

Always Dunmer...

Love the Ra Gada, Argonian, Bosmer, Khajiit and Nordic Lore as well.

Lore-wise....it would have to be the redguards or the nords. I'll say nords, for now. But on a personal basis, argonians, because of my Iksar character in EQ, which was my first race.

Lore-wise would be Argonians, because of the whole tribal thing going on, the Hist, and their mysterious homeland. Personal bias would lean towards the Khajiit (I like cats) and Bretons (human mages).

Dunmer are actually beating the Argonians in a poll on this forum for once? Wow...I am genuinely shocked. No sarcasm or anything here. Guess the Lore buffs are more of the Dunmer fan type here.

Argonian since Morrowind. I like almost everything Bethesda put in them. I like and play Khajiit too, awesome race.

My first Oblivion character was a Dark Elf, and I loved how good at destruction and blade it was, shame I accidentally deleted it, then I used a Breton, did more or less the same, now I'm enjoying the Khajjit sneaky High life! B)

That's what was making me pull my hair. I cannot decide if I like Shor and his children more, or the biggest BA of all time, Cyrus. Not to mention nord stories are always fun reads, while the Hoon Ding just commands respect. "The Make Way God"...awesome.

Has to be Dunmer for me. I prefer mer in general but I think all of the races are pretty awesome in their own way.

I plan on making a Nord warrior, a khajiit thief, and a dunmer or breton mage/necromancer on different playthroughs.

I always hated the orcs, the NPC's annoyed me, their voices too, and especially their names, so I never chose to be one, and I don't intend to in the near future. ^_^

I've always wanted to like the Orcs, but they've always been so stupid looking. I think Skyrim might finally allow me to play one and be happy.
