I am what you call an Argonian player (I play three parallel chars atm) and I don't hate the Dunmer. Some are a bit annoying with that Irish wannabe accent but they're ok as a race, I mean in Skyrim they share the same Nord hate with Argonians and Khajiit. Each time that Dunmer woman in Windhelm asked my Argonian chars if I hated the dark elves, I replied no.

thats fair enough, and i salute you for not hating the dark elves, but alot of argonian players do dislike the dunmer because of the history between the 2 races

I like how the Dunmers are losing in a poll for once.

That said, Argonians all the way. Them cute lizards has always been one of the reason why I got interested in the Elder Scroll in the first (not to mention they are not "evil" race like some many other RPG/Fantasy setting crap offers).

2nd place would go to the Redguards. These badasses are the best swordsmen one can ever relies on and one of the best lores of the series has to offer.

Favorite: Dunmer. Bretons are a close second if not a tie. To actually play the game of Skyrim, I like Bretons more. But from a large, overall TES picture, I like the Dunmer the most as a race. The most interesting history full of tragedy and hardship, but they're strong and will carry on. A little racial pride, sure, a little standoffish, yes, but they deserve to be, after all the crap their race has gone through starting back in the First Era...

Least Favorite: Altmer. Before, it was just because I thought they were ugly in previous games, and all the NPCs I met were arrogant and snobby with annoying voices. They look a lot better in Skyrim, but the whole Great War/Aldmeri Dominion thing really turned me off. I know that not all Altmer share the views of the Thalmor, but still. I don't want my character associated with that...

I also like playing as Female Bosmer Archer, it so cool, they have nice tattos and styles....

I don't like playing with argonian and with imperial. I don't know why

So I voted, Breton for favorite, Imperial for Least favorite

I take always one of the beast races, and if not, it is a Dunmer 99% of the time.

I never played an orc though...

No one who picked Redguard as least favorite has said why...hmmm...

My most favorite is Argonian, love their look in Skyrim, lore, and am looking forward to a TES with Black Marsh as the central location. Least favorite is Imperial, just a generic people.

The main reason would be they are too damn sixy.

My Favourite (and usually starting character) is Dunmer... Dark Elves just rock! Least fave was actually a tie between Bosmer and Imperials... Bosmer are SOOOOO annoying!

Bosmer are my favorite, can't stand the Nords. Probably because Bosmer are the least "wrong" looking elves, and they have some.. different lore behind them.

My favourite are the Khajiit, I love their lore, voices, and comments... and my favourite book in the game is the one with the Khajiit legends of the creation (the clanmother's tale to her favoured daughter).

Least favourite... maybe Imperial, it's the only race I never tried at least once. Their racial power isn't really that useful to me, and they just look plain. But I don't hate them.
