Whiterun seems to be the only major city where everyone isn't depressed.

Can't really tell i am 15+ hours in the game and i am still in Whiterun :vaultboy: but i play slowly and not fast travel or carts. I can't wait to go to Solitude though but it's very far away.

For cities, I've only been to Whiterun and Solitude but the thing is I like them both and I think I'll end up liking all of the Skyrim's cities for different reasons.
With Oblivion it was very different, it was more of a Yes/No type deal when I explored the cities, if I didn't like one city, I would just move on to the next one.

Again, I've only discovered 2 out of the 5 big cities in Skyrim, but I think they all have their own characteristics which makes it hard to leave a city behind. :D

I love every single city, especially Falkreath and Riften, but Solitude is by far my favourite. The atmosphere, the architecture, the layout of the streets...for me, its the only city in the game that really feels "safe". Windhelm always felt in danger to me, so did Whiterun, and all the others, but I feel like I can just relax in Solitude. Love it. Long live the Empire!

I like Riverwood and Falkreath because of their locations and just how small and secluded they are.

big city is kinda a weird thing to say
dawnstar winterhold Falkreath Morthal and riverwood are all just nothing more then smal towns

like markath for it looks but cant really live there
windhelm just feels too tight

but still cant decide between solitude riften and whiterun

Solitude, Markarth, whiterun, windhelm and riften are the only real cities. The rest are towns at best.

Markarth. Because home is where the heart is. And by "heart", I mean the Briarhearts I ripped out of the chests of the Forsworn.

I've only seen five or six of them, but I like the look of Windhelm the best so far. It looks old and falling apart, and I sorta like the decrepit feel it gives me when my character walks around.

Proud to say I haven't been to all of them yet.

I've been staying in one area and really milking it before I set off for new venture.

Helps keep the world big.
