Favourite DLC, And Why

Its a toss up with Anchorage and the Pitt. I like them both. Probably Anchorage more since it took you back before the war, which I always found interesting.

The Pitt for sure, I thought it was the best setting for a post-apocalpytic game, and exploring the steelyard was great, probably the best setting in the game for me.

Point lookout and Broken steel. Broken steel added so much to the existing game.

This. And the great selection of new weapons that were added.

Point Lookout for being eerie, atmospheric and not as poorly written as most of the game.

1st: Point Lookout for the landmass and quests (and punga trip).
2nd: Mothership Zeta - it was something different, and with aliens, even if it didn't really fit.

Mothership zeta. because if you are just starting out you can do mothership zeta and earn tons of caps from all the stuff you get on it.

The Pitt. It had me making one of the most difficult decisions I had to make in the game. I remember really enjoying all of the DLCs as they came out, but I do know I liked Mothership Zeta the least. I think it was just so tedious. It also seemed that the difficulty scaling was random - it was either totally easy and doable or stupidly difficult.

1. The Pitt (atmosphere, CHOICE, perks, weapons)
2. Point Lookout (atmosphere, exploration, stories, weapons, perks)
3. Operation Anchorage (for the loot rewards only)
4. Broken Steel (didn't like story, but appreciated post-game free roam)
5. Mothership Zeta (see above, didn't even care for the weapons)

I love The Pitt and Point Lookout, but Broken Steel gets my vote for making the game go on after the main quest.

havent played broken steel before, when it first came I tried it but found I was glitched to where I couldnt use any companians. So ya broken steel was broken on many levels lol.

Point Lookout- if anything the dlc shows that if bethesda keeps a story simple without blowing it up everywhere, they can actually do a good job writing. Helps that I had watched deliverance right before I first played the dlc, I could swear I heard the npcs say "squil for me piggy!"...shudder
The pitt-to this day I dont know what the best option is morally, but I always deny getting that baby because eh, in the end hopefully things will get better and it really helps I get status in the new place when its built in the future.
Operation Amchorage-i enjoyed because it felt a somewhat prequel and got to see first hand how people acted and such. Didnt mind the cod feel, it was fun at least.
Mothership Zeta- would love to try but dammiy those aliens dont know what the [censored] they doing necause so far in my last 2 games, I always die on the operating table with them above me....dunno lol. Heres hoping 3 times a charm.
Broken Steel-eh I roleplay so I think I wont ever do the dlc unless I ever do a science guy and take the cyborg perk. Other wise id always feel like the million dollar man.."we have the tools, we can rebuild him!"

But ya overall I voted for the ppint lookout. Bethesda was totally in theif element with that one and they actually really shined.

The Pitt, because those uppity slaves need to be taught a lesson and those scummy raiders need to get capped by an even bigger scumbag, especially that dude who ganked my stuff.

The Pitt. First time I played it I walked into Ashur's place with the intention of walking out with the cure. Instead I walked out and helped put down a rebellion. The ammo press is just icing on that cake.

Yep. I did the exact same thing. Turned right around and killed the sneaky Werhner bastard.

Media was also just annoying as hell. Which didn't help the slaves' case.

The Pitt because of its moral decisions. And Ashur is the best character in Fallout 3. And it's in Pittsburgh.

Broken Steel. The quest were so much fun and full of epic moments. I honestly didn't need a new area to explore to like it, though, the airfield was an amazing fight.

Point Lookout and The Pitt follow. I loved Desmond and Ashur.

This is difficult. Operation Anchorage was sort of pointless until the very end, when you got past the door. Best loot in the game, bar none. Who doesn't want armor with (literally) 1 million health before it breaks? And the Gauss Rifle <3. And the Stealth Armor <3.

The Pitt had probably the second best storyline and gave you this black and white choice where you don't know who really is best for the city. Plus, well, Metal Blaster <3. Perferator <3. I'm getting sidetracked, sorry.

Broken Steel.. I love it because of the level cap. I liked the stronger enemies, except Reavers. It had one of my favorite battles of all of Fallout in the Presidential Metro. But the story made no sense. First off, you are alive. How the hell is it that while your inside the purifier, you get heavily irradiated and still wake up before Sarah who was outside the purifier. Second, why the hell are you going alone through a Deathclaw infested city and sewer system to recover something important like a Tesla Coil? Third, why would you fight through an entire Enclave base all by yourself to destroy them? Then the BoS picks you up and say that "we" did it. Shut up. But.. Tesla Cannon <3.

Point Lookout was the best story. Qualifies as an expansion. Loved creepy enemies and a different feel from a sun soaked apocalypse. I liked Desmond and sided with him, and I really liked Madame Panada's accent. And I liked helping brew Moonshine. And the spy mission. And the Pint-Sized Slasher Masks. And the Microwave Emitter. Gosh I love loot. <3

Aaad Mothership Zeta. Meh. I hated trying to get the Alien Archivist Achievment. It ticked me
off a lot. By the time I got to Mothership Zeta I didn't need any other loot, but I liked exploring the ship.. Except you can NEVER GO BACK to practically anywhere on the ship when you kill the Captain. I did like killing Paulson for getting lippy. And the Alien Epoxy so I could keep my Gauss Rifle in perfect condition <3.

I have played through each DLC multiple times and these are my final picks overall.

1. Operation Anchorage (you can say I am biased, but the loot was awesome).

2. Point Lookout

3. The Pitt

4. Broken Steel

5. Mothership Zeta

Whew.. I'm done.

Broken Steel. Only 'cause Fallout 3 is lacking in content and it adds a few quests and things to see in the wasteland, though that's because I'm an Xbox 360 player. When I play it on the PC I'd say Point lookout.

Point Lookout. I love the atmosphere, the exploration, the enemies. Elements of it get that real "Silent Hill" feeling. My only complaint is that there are so many hostiles and not enough friendlies, I would have liked finding more than Hayley and the Moonshine lady living out there so I'd have more incentive to check the shacks.

The Pitt wins for story, though. Like many others I went to Ashur expecting to put the man down and walked out of there to end the rebellion instead.

The Pitt, easily. It is my favorite part of Fallout 3, and I wish it had been the main game rather than that business with the Enclave. The Pitt is BGS's finest work, by far.

Point Lookout is also good, but the story doesn't quite grab me the way The Pitt's does.

I like broken steel since it continues the game without you having to load an older file before the final boss fight
