Though fo lore battle isn t real life you should take the battle of Somme into account. WW1 is the reason no one fights like that anymore.

Being scared is not always a bad thing, because the only option to dieing is to fight harder. Soldiers are offten taught to turn fear into anger. At least this is what my dad told me he was taught before being shipped off to the nam. Fighting back was all he had when he was scared.

Do you see allied soldiers getting slapped all over because they are facing an enemy that will die for there cause now??? No, because allied forces are better armed better supplied and don t really want to die.

They weren't simply going to form lines and march across the Dam at them, they are going to run at a bunch of men with semi-automatic rifles; they have infiltrated the lower levels of the Dam and can strike behind the NCR heavily defended perimeter, they may have a pre-war howtizer (assuming that we are discussing without the Couriers intervention, another part could be found somewhere) to pound the NCR snipers. The NCR's position is piss weak and the Legion beat them before if you talk to people, only the main bulk of the Legions forces kept maching onwards in Boulder City and got ambushed, Lanius also mentions that they couldn't dislodge some NCR holdouts from the Dam's lower levels.

Real life hisory ,and logic,

Stop using real world logic, fallout logic, FEV mutated by radiation has made people much more durable than normal, allowing for people like Legionarries to push themselves beyond regular bounds, they are extremely durable and strong.

snip

They can t take what we did into acount, because we can make anybody win that we want.

Everyone builds up the Legion for lore but no one thinks the NCR will be defending that dam llke they had a brain. You really think in a lore battle NCR will have 8 guys with semi auto weapons as the front of their layered defense???????? You bring all cl lore and no NCR lore. They slap the bos all over the west and you think that cl can beat them. NCR is layered all the way back to Cali. cl can t get behind them. NCR has radios and can reinforce where its needed tadtics can be changed on the fly. CL can t do that. NO WAY CL CAN WIN

I think rpg hp and stags make this possible, but either way they can only get shot with ap rounds so many times. NCR would use the ap round from their suppliers in a lore battle. They know cl, because they already beat them once.

You can not run men into mgs and mini guns backed by snipers and other small arms.

The japs tried this in wwll the would send wave upon wave at us mg nests. Next day 800 dead japs 35 dead US marines. It can t happen.

People in real war don t always die with one shot either my dad told me he saw nva take 4 .45 pistol rounds to the chest and kept coming until they dropped.

Go on break.com find some clips where our guys shoot insugents multiple times to drop them.

The FEV mutation is the lore rational behind the RPG mechanics of stats for npcs, and the NCR does not have machine gun nests, there are very few heavy armor troops with miniguns, the bulk of their troops are troopers with service rifles, each only getting 2 weeks of poor training before being shipped out, and General Oliver put the rangers in a spot where they cant win, in order to keep Hanlon from getting credit for the victory.

Soilders in real life don t always die in one shot and keep coming, because they are full of adrenalin. NVA soilders took drugs, but you can only take so many non fatal hits before your body quits working and falls down.

My dad said it seemed like some of them didn t even know they were getting shot, and he said that scared him. He didn t run away though, because he most certainly would have died. He turned fear into anger just like the marine corp brainwashed him to do.
He is still like that to this day. You can t really scare him, because he will turn it to rage even as an old man.

They would mount those weapons and make nests behind the sand bags. Remember we r not taking what we see in game into accout, just the lore of them. NCR would for sure make mg ang mini gun nests. If cl can have 100 000 guys. Why does NCR have to remain how they r in game, but cl does not. I m going by what NCR personnel told me cl fought like the first time they beat that at the same place.

They packed a bunch of guys up, got beat up, then they got fooled to getting blow up when they did gain ground.

If cl has 100 000 men than NCR has more men than we see as well.
Which means more mgs and mini guns. NCR has on the fiy command and control if people r in the wrong places they will be moved when the crap hits the fan. CL does not have real time c&c.

So when they start losing it has to be passed through the ranks 10s of thousands of men.

CL has no chance what so ever. Like I said if cl wins Vegas I m retiring from fo. They are the wrong kind of bad guys to win. Not enough tech, and their tactics are a proven loser.

They r not slaughtering tribals here NCR plays for keeps. Ask the western bos.

The only ones with Miniguns and LMGs are the Salvaged PA NCR troops, and even those are limited. Caesar's Legion does have good tactics, as mentioned before they send their weakest first then the waves get deadlier and deadlier until the enemy is broken. At the Battle at the Hoover Dam, Caesar's Legion makes there way through the pipes and underground, surprise attacking the NCR. And since Caesar's Legion are skilled in Melee/ Unarmed and they would then be at close range, NCR would quickly be killed.

You have to take tactics into accout. You to take everything into account. Real world logic must be taken into account. Thag is why I used some real world battles. I m not saying a fo lore battle is just like real life, but real life combat tactics and the effect of using the wrong tactics must be taken into account. CL is using the wrong tactics.

AAAHHHHHH If you want your fallout to lose all credibility then more power to you. I want my fo to have who would really win a lore battle win it CL can not win end of story.

If they do I would consider fo one of the stupidest games on earth and retire. If a real fighting force of bad guys won I d have no problem, but cl could not win end of story.

Explain to me how Caesar's Legion is using "wrong tactics". WITHOUT real world references.

We did, the Legion infiltrates through the lower levels of the dam so that NCR holdouts can't prevent them from winning. In game lore the NCR is a shambles and the Legion almsot won the first battle, they took the dam but kept marching onwards into an ambush; they won pretty much won the Dam, in the topside battle you think they'll lose anyway, last time before General Oliver started [censored] [censored] up, before Lanius, without Courier intervention, when they had Chief Hanlon leading the Rangers proper and without the advanced deployment in the lower levels.

Im just seeing HUGE bias toward the Legion, just accept the fact that the Legion will be victorious.

Don't you mean bias against the Legion? Bias towards it would mean most people think they would win. But anyway isn't hard to figure who would win in a speculatory battle in a video game? Seems like it could go either way.

Yknow, Cottonwood Cove, Nelson, Searchlight, Ranger Station Charlie, Monorail bombing, Khans alliance, WGS alliance, Omerta alliance, NCR's supply line tightened, NCtRooper morale sinking, NCR under equipped, NCR under trained, legionnaires having trained most of their life in the Legion, legionnaires proficient in both melee and guns, Centurions required to kill 100+ people to earn their ranks, legionnaires being fanatically loyal, Misfits ending slider, Vulpes, Caesar and Lanius being better commanders than Oliver, NCR barely able to get a hold of the Powder Ganger situation, NCR being enemy of just about everyone.

Yknow.
Stuff. :)

Legion controls like 4 states, they have battles BoS, Mutants, and people wearing Combat Armor, and they are beating the NCR.
