Nellis, a highly secure fortress of presumably pure-human, educated and self-sustaining people; as an Enclave Remnant fighting a long-term geurrila war against the NCR, I couldn't hope for more.

Definitely the Abandoned BoS Bunker. It has everything you'd need, it's safe, it's got plenty of space and doesn't have [censored] lighting (something which ruins every random shack out in the wastes for me).

Novac.

Has everything you could want within a short walk. Workbench, reloading bench, a few merchants in the area, a doctor, owned bed for limb healing in HC mode and a enemy free campfire a short walk away.

Abandoned BoS bunker is pretty cool

By the way, anyone knows why the NCR safehouse is called a ′′safehouse′′? It's about as safe as sleeping on a flying plane with all those Deatchlaws around

Lucky 38, it may take a few loading screens, but with all the upgrades, it's definitely the coolest IMO. Plus, I'm King of the Strip with House gone, so it wouldn't be fitting if I lived elsewhere.

It is certainly safe from thieves.

I like to keep all the gear at the BoS bunker because it has a clean layout
ample storage cabinets and a water (hardcoe mode) source. Outside of it,
one can find banana yucca, mesquite, xander root all in a short range.
All the cunsumables I keep them at the Goodsprings sources, in that trailer near
the 2nd campfire. Not the best choice maybe, but I do miss that place and
once in a while I like to get back there for some fresh water and some cooking

Made myself my own little place in Freeside. Just removing one of the ruined buildings in freeside next to the Old Norman Fort and placing my own house there over 2 levels. Just down the road from the north exit, across the street from medical supplies and with a Workbench and Reloading Bench downstairs and 6 footlockers lined up along one wall with a bed on the otherside upstairs. What else could a smooth talking assasin need?

If you only ask for some space to stash stuff, you can use it.

Why limit yourself to one house when you can have the whole town? Nipton all the way.

The Lucky 38 Presidential Suite. It's classy, cozy, AND if I want, I can go up to my own personal cocktail lounge to drink, radio, and enjoy the view.

My favorite non-mod home would have to be Novac. I like Novac because it's easy to get to, pretty central to the map, and has enough storage for whatever. However, the radiated water is a minus.

I started in Goodsprings and found no reason to leave. The two dumpsters next to Chet's store serves as storage for everything I want to sell...left one for weapons and armor, right one for misc. Easy Pete's house I basically took over and keep all items that I collect as well as items needed for repairs and health.....I have easy access to the Doc's house if needed and also the two benches on the other side of Chet's...Goodsprings source is close....but above all I feel a lot more at home there. :wavey:

Other - Wolfhorn Ranch, nobody lives there, tobacco and other resources are present, rarely any visitors (sometimes Powder Gangers would come by), and a very peaceful spot south of the map.

The Legion safehouse is a good one. A nice supply of stealth boys, a camp fire, a water fountain and it has alot of bighorner meat around it.

When I'm not playing Legion though I like Wolfhorne ranch.( I think that's the name). It has everything really.

I never thought of that, thanks for the idea. Currently, my favorite is the Presidential Sweet in the Tops. I don't know what it is about the Strip, but the whole idea of luxury and gambling is what I like best. Also being that my Character works for Mr. House and he does business. B)

I choose the Followers safehouse, for the following reasons:

* Compatibility with my aims. The Followers provide assistance, care, and education to those who need it. So do I. And Arcade indicates that at least some of them are willing to kick butt for a good cause, just like me.
* Easy access. Fast travel there and you're right at the door. All you have to do is enter, and you have access to everything the house has to offer. The Lucky 38 has multiple checkpoints. The suites at the Topps and Ultra-luxe are even worse.
* Clean water, replenishing food, and periodic access to the meds of your choice.
* Secure lockers (not so sure about the fridges, though).
* Several outfits with good protection, and several good energy weapons (mostly for resale, my EW of choice is the Q-35 Modulator).
* Several magazines, and a book to boot.
* Reasonable proximity to Vegas. Not perfect, but it's not like the Mojave outpost either.
* AND Owned beds, providing healing even in hardcoe Mode (and I don't play any other way) and well-rested bonus.

The Lucky 38 is an ideal place for the player to retire after the game ends, either to be spoiled rotten with luxuries by Mr. House, or as a suitable reward from the NCR for your assistance in the Hoover Dam conflict, or as your personal palace when you take over NV yourself.* However, cool as it is, it's just too inconvenient for general use unless nothing else is available.

*Of course, if the Legion wins, you can expect that Caesar'll appropriate the place for himself, since it's the centerpiece of his new Rome.
