Favourite inn

My inn of choice would be the Tap and Tack, I really like the atmosphere plus Ongar is there :)
I also like the Drunken Dragon because of its remote location

What about you?

Probably the Faregryl Inn or the one right outside the imperial city.

^ Drunken Dragon Inn is also a great place to go if you've made alot of potions & poisons and need a place to sell 'em without going into town.

Favorite INN? It really is a tough call for me. In the countryside (sorta) most of my chars have always liked Pells Gate. It's a pretty location, those 3 townsfolk outside are nice for chit-chat and taking down that errant wolf who's been following me the last mile, the Innkeep (forget her name) always has this huge stock of potions to sell, which is important cuz sometimes it's inconvenient to go all the way into town to get one. There's that fort right across the road, which is one of my favorite dungeon-dives. :) The innkeep doesn't rent any beds, but
Spoiler
if you pick the lock upstairs, nobody sees, and the bed is essentially free and can be slept in.

The problem with Pells Gate is the Innkeep offers no money if you wanna sell a potion. Somehow, she still has zero gold even though all my characters who've stayed there have given her hundreds if not thousands over time..

My favorite town Inn? It's up to my character. Usually it's a toss-up between Tiber Septim Hotel (which has that MASSIVE food-feast waiting upstairs, yet nobody ever eats it!), the West Weald Inn in Skingrad with its Alchemy shop in the basemant and interesting floor plan layout.

..I dunno, :shrugs: it's hard to say which is my absolute faves, really. Those are just the ones that popped into my head.

In my mind if pressed the Oak and Crossier in Chorol for city inns, and the, drunken dragon country pubs.

Buffy likes the nice inns that have a welcoming fireplace with comfortable seating in front of it. Someplace she can relax and get a nice glass of wine. The Oak and Crosier in Chorol is a good example.

For exactly the same reasons, she likes The Count's Arms in Anvil. http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv43/Acadian6/ScreenShot593.jpg

When she's traveling, she uses her own portable campsite from her mare's saddlebags, but if near a wilderness inn, she will happily stay there instead. She quite likes S'Jirra's warm potato bread.

I love the all kinds of.. err... "characters" at the Roxey Inn. They make me feel that if a giant minotaur does come in (obviously by the time they have all maxed out armor) my character wont get a Dwemer mallet to the face. Also, It makes nice conversation to hear how the people indirectly praise me.

Ugh. Wilbur creeps me & all my female characters out! :P They all can't get upstairs to the room fast enough to escape his creepy eyes. I sometimes think he was wanting to be a Fighter's Guild porter, but failed getting into the FG. Plus, Wilbur is supposed to be this great wine connoseur (however you spell it) but doesn't even sell any alcohol!

I'm personally fond of Olav's tap and tack. It's the perfect place to warm your feet and get drunk with loads of nords :)

Camarilla likes the floating inn on the IC waterfront since it's close to her new house! She can stagger home at 4 in the morning, almost without getting lost.

No idea where the Drunken Dragon is but I like the name. Favorite isprobably the Merchants Inn since it has a merchant there with the dlc plugin and its also right by all the other shops. I prefer inns since even though I have to pay I don't wake up with someone in my bed which happens frequently at guild halls.

Olav's, for the exact same reasons you had, and Imperial Bridge Inn, simply because of how out of the way it is.

Yea the Roxey is always full of all those NPCs who do little else but stand around making chit-chat. It is kind of an interesting atmosphere, however. Depending on the character I'm playing, I'll either get overwhelmed and ignore everyone or engage in all the meaningless conversation that's going on. :)

"This is a Dark Elf bar. Cursing, spitting, and screaming? No problem. Fighting is fine with me, too, only the Guard objects, and they'll fine you or lock you up. Not my call."
- Newlands Lodge owner Derven Romalen.

That's my kind of Inn.

Another inn of my liking is Silverhome on the Water, but that′s mostly for its name ;)
But of the two in Bravil it′s the nicest one, complete with Bravil's First Citizen of the Ale Tub :)
