Favourite NPC

Ahnassi , I mean how can you not like a character that says
"may you walk on warm sand?"

Every Khajiit says that if they like you ;)
Ra'virr and Jobasha for example will also say this.

My list:
Aryon - one of the more normal among the telvanni and also more open. You can see that already when visiting his tower
Baladas Demnevanni - at first a bit on his own, but if you get to know him better he is a nice person. Does also know things from the dwarves and will reward you with a companion, which is the only companion that isn't added with a mod.
Therana - Just plain crazy and that's why i like her. Can tell you some good stories which are fun to hear.
Divayth Fyr - Just the nice grandpa. Knows almost everything.
Elone - one of the first persons you met. Will put you into the right direction.
Uncle Sweetshare - Like therana also crazy, but then from the sugar he has taken. His song is hilarious.

Divayth Fyr - 4000 year-old badass who does whatever he wants. Awesome.
Athyn Sarethi - Hope of the Redoran indeed. Very grounded and wise, I found. I'd make him the Archmaster if I could.
Minabibi Assardarainat - The apprentice wise woman of the Ahemmusa. She doesn't get any respect from her boss and I like her attitude.
Aryon - I like the direction he wants to take the Telvanni. Seem like a nice guy (but Telvanni, so he's still a little crazy).
Darius - First Legion quest-giver. I have fond memories of stepping into his office after a successful mission. Besides, I like an underdog. And the Deathshead legion is definitely an underdog in Vvardenfell.
Percius Mercius - Stupid name aside, I like him for the same reasons I like Athyn. I'd make him Master again, if only that were possible.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Sul-Matuul - He's a perfect balance between progressive and traditionalist. Plus, he's willing to give you a chance.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Aryon - He's willing to give you a chance on multiple occasions, and is open-minded.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Galbedir - I don't really know why. I truthfully have no clue.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Caius_Cosades - Need I say anything?
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Divayth_Fyr - 4,000 year old mage. Let's you do lots of cool things that are all spoilers. I hope he's in TESV.

I guess my favourite NPC from Vanilla is http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Captain_Falx_Carius. He's not so bad (for an Imperial) and he likes Solstheim. Plus, he's tough and has guts. I had him to survive the Hunt and then I relocated him in order to be the captain of the guards of Solstheim Castle after the dismantlement of Fort Frostmoth. He has been loyal to me so far.

As for mods, my favourites are the Berserkers of Lokken. They're my warrior' bros :)

Too many to count. But here is a short list:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Sterdecan – for actually doing something about the slavery problem in Vvardefell.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Dunsalipal_Dun-Ahhe – because the name gets me every time!
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Alfhedil_Elf-Hewer – for the same reason!
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Gentleman_Jim_Stacey – for the Bal Molagmer quests.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Larienna_Macrina – because she is the one partner you get who you don’t have to babysit.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Ama_Nin – because I found her by accident, she gave me her skirt and blouse, and I didn’t find out who she really was until much later!

Hul. I could have made a list, but Hul is the only NPC that all my characters end up seeing relatively early and speaking to.

This is a tricky one.

Master Aryon - his views are revolutionary and Aralin Hlerayn was enamoured with him from the moment they first spoke.
Divayth Fyr - in all ways he's an utter legend and good friend.
Mistress Therana - completely nuts and hilarious

I guess that's my top 3.

There are a lot of characters in Morrowind that I like, but I'm sure it's no surprise when I say my favorite is Dagoth Ur. I've always been fond of him for not being the typical evil villain that I've come across in nearly every other video game I've ever played. The first time I finished the vanilla main quest, I left the citadel not feeling good about what I had just done at all.

Thank goodness for mods. ;)

Barenziah, Divayth Fyr, Ahnassi, Ajira.

And Vivec. I didnt know anything about the game when I first played it and thought: Living god, yeah right.
So when I managed to break into his quarters i saw this golden floaty guy and snuck right back out, heart pounding.
"Argh, he's real, he's gonna murdelize me!"

But absolutely Barenziah.
Downloaded Daggerfall just so I could roleplay a 'back to the future' meeting.

Ra'Gruzgob - meow.

Sharn gra-Muzgob - for the last time, NOT A NECROMANCER!

Ra'Virr - thanks for buying all my moon sugar and skooma.

Jonus Maximus - he always looks so bright and shining on the bridge.

Snowy Granius - the man is a mystery. why is he there? why does he attack?

Salas Valor - tis as sad a story as i've ever heard.

special:
eno hlaalu. i was so sad when he left. i almost reloaded to never claim the title of grandmaster
ilmeni dren. a pity you cannot finish what she started. i loved her quests
vedam dren. thanks for my splendid new home at the odai plateau :) house hlaalu shall prosper
soccucius ergalla. see you next time, testing some new mods ;) chargen never gets boring with him.

Technically Almalexia isn't an NPC, but I think she'll count. If not, I'll make her count!1 I was very much like wtf with her delusional commands right from the start.

Bathmar Bold-Lute! The guy sings that epic song about me. What would be better? :D

Tarhiel, M'Aiq, Vivec, Crassius, Uncle Sweetshare, Therana, Yagrum, stuff are among most memorable.

I see I'm not the only one who was sad when Eno Hlaalu retired. I actually reloaded to make him not disappear! :) There's one game I didn't, and even there, I'm constantly collecting the Threads of the Webspinner to place on his bed as a tribute to him. :(

Oh and http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Ulfgar_the_Unending is an epic guy IMO. Sort of an Umbra #2 if you ask me.

I also like some people that actually make sense, such as Mehra Milo, Nibani Maesa, Aryon and Barenziah. Although those that make the least of sense are also great, such as you might have found out from this message already.

Why, Synette Jeline of course. Morrowinds most famous Damsel in Distress. I never kill her. Only beat her senseless, take all her clothes and leave her there, naked and alone. Also, her companion, (probably lisbian), doesnt make it. Will give her something to think about.

Hehehe.

Barenziah, of course, carried over from my admiration of her from Daggerfall. Shame her daughter Morgiah couldn't make an appearance as well, but she gets a chance to be her specific brand of awesome in an in-game book so I'm not too saddened.

Lustidrike: Wanna drink, buddy? Got anything you want, so long as it's sujamma.

Uleni Hleran, for her absolutely hilarious takedown of Angaredhel during a quest in Sadrith Mora.

Divyath Fyr - Quite the badass.'Steal everything you want, just make sure I don't kick your ass afterwards.'
Uncle Crassius - The perv.:D
Caius Cosades - I felt lonely after he left for Cyrodiil.
Vivec - Master of words.
Yagrum
Therana

I've always liked http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Abelle_Chriditte because she's nice, smart, and has a great role in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:The_Cake_and_the_Diamond. Plus I spend a lot of time with her, because my Recall is to Valenvaryon, so I can quickly get wherever I want via the Propylon Chambers. /wub/

so I kept his house as my base of operations, even though I had a nicer house in Balmora.
