Redgaurds, because I've always liked their racials and they're the race that looks the most like me.

Can't choose, all races have such great lore.
Although my favorites are Redguards, Nords, Dunmer and Khajiit.

I like manipulating people, so I'm more akin to Imperials. Though Dark Elves and Bretons are next.

Though I'm going to be Nord first play through.

We prefer to be called Altmer, not high elves.

I mean, just because we are technically better than all the other races, doesnt make it less rude to actually state so in your name.

I like them all, played oblivion with every race. Well, mostly just 10-20 hours, but still. Only finished the MQ of Morrowind with the Dunmer, Breton (Arvil Bren wannabe character) and I'm busy with my Imperial playthrough as a reincarnation of saint Nerevar, and ascending to immortality by Corprus disease. So my little Imperial can also tell the tale in Oblivion and Skyrim. He laughs in the face of random NPCs who say the nerevarine has traveled to Akaviri. Still, I must say I like Imperials the most, just because I have an interest in the Roman Empire.

Argonians, because in Oblivion they were the only race that didn't look like ass.

Well, too bad the whole Roman thing got scrapped... :(

My favorite race is Bosmer (Wood Elf) because, 1) they are really sneaky and so am I, 2) they are short and I am too! :ninja:

Here they are ranked for me:
Breton ( like making a character that looks something like me, plus uses magic)
Argonian
Dunmer
Redguard
Imperial
Altmer
Nord
Orc
Bosmer
Khajiit

However, I really like most of them fairly equally. Except Bosmer and Khajiit, I never hardly play as them.

Altmer got to be . I'm a short hairy bloke who plays a banjo in real life, so that's the last thing i want to be in a game. Tall pointy eared women with flames shooting from their hands is where it's at

Orsimer. They just intrigue me. I've always liked playing roles that seem a bit unusual to most. My favourite character is an Orc named Daiyus gro-Dyyg, who is a Spellsword, favouring Fire based magic. He wears a mostly light armour with a hood. Overall he is a fairly balanced character from experience, plus it's always fun to imagine NPC responses to such a cool headed, abnormal Orc.

Bretons. Sophisticated, intelligent, abstract magical masters. I almost always play a Breton assassin-mage.

Breton because of magic.

I never played a Dark Elf or a Redguard, maybe I will give them a try in Skyrim.
