I like shambles but you can loot from skeleton summon if you loot it just after it dies, which one is better, only one way to find out.

FIGHT!!!

Arelar Magnus was brave enough to challenge a dremora lord named Abraxas for a duel. He defeated Abraxas, and now he is his own personal bodyguard. Just one scream for help, and Abraxas is summoned to wreck havoc on Arelar's foes.

Storm Atronach. What's not to love about a pile of spinning rocks that electrocutes your enemies.

Where's the option for the bear? It's in the game, with the spell tomes DLC.

He's seriously my favorite. He doesn't have the highest endurance or AP but he's aggressive as all get out and lands lots of hits before dying or despawning.

Not to mention a cool sounding roar. Must be that tiger-blood in their veins. Oh wait, that is Charlie Sheen... ;)

When I first saw shambles in the SI i thought they were awesome. But then I found out that the summoned ones dont make a frost explosion, which is STUPID. Also do they get stuck on any doorways in Cyrodiil? I seem to remember them getting stuck on the door arches in forts, but i havnt played in a while.

Anyways my favorite is Hunger. They are FAST and they have a REALLY cool footstep when theyre runnig! If magicka is not an issue, is voracious Hunger a better choice for me over clannfear? They only hit 2 more damage, but I dont know how fast they attack compared to clannfears. Oh are they faster than clannfears?

Liches, with my modded Oblivion I can summon four for total epic undead-ness.

Even though my current character has serious moral issues with conjuring up the Undead, I want to spread some love in the direction of the Gloom Wraith. It may be slow, but it resists normal weapons, and it's fun to watch some foes swing away at it in futility while it smacks them around and curses them.

They're also good for a quick Grand soul if you need one.

Agreed. I was gravely disappointed when I discovered that too :shakehead:

This I have no idea about. I′d like to think they are equally fast :bolt:

Right now I am using Headless Zombies as meatshields especially for those pesky Will-O-The-Wisps and Flame Atronachs for when I need ranged attacks. I can't wait until I have enough magicka to summon Clanfears.

Those are great if you ask most people. Isn′t that right, Acadian?

However those zombies I don′t like at all. Too... disgusting for my tastes

I just use summoning to feed soul gems and Dawnfang/Duskfang really. So I have Summon Skeleton hot keyed.

I did that a lot back in the days. Also I used the skeleton for training, very good way to hone your skills without much danger

I enjoy summoning Dremora Lords if I have enough magika, but if I don't I usually summon scamps.

-Oblivion DLC spoiler-

Spoiler
Also, if you have the Wizard's Tower DLC, buy the Vault's furnishings and explore it and you'll find a beverage on the ground or in a chest. It lets you summon a dremora lord while being paralyzed and healed at the same time! :)

Hey! Where's the gloom wraith option? No way I'm voting for just "wraith" - those things are weak in comparison... I love gloom wraiths! Always use those guys.

I realise there are different types of skeletons, zombies and so on, but if you wish you can always specify exactly what you like to summon in the heat of battle.

This includes Gloom Wraiths and is what I also use :)

Just thought I′d bring this up since there seem to be a need for the poll again.

Lothran summoned the Dremora Lord a lot in his younger days but that daedra is well retired now as Lothran doesn′t rely on summons anymore

I used the Faded Wraith more than the Gloom Wraith. More time on the first timer, and I'm too lazy to go make a custom Gloom spell. I love conjuring these guys in the middle of bandit heaven.

Same here, and it doesn′t feel like a good idea in general with summons as their health is also a factor. What I have experienced is that almost no summon uses all the time but instead they die halfway or so. And boosting them with health spells is nothing I would do, seems pointless.
