Favourite things about Consoles?

I actually prefer using an xbox 360 pad for the PC for most games these days, even for a few FPS games although anything with multiplayer i still stick with keyboard and mouse and currently the games i play look so much nicer on PC than they do on console so i'm getting the best of both worlds :)

Yeah they look stunning i agree...
Its hard for someone thats not well informed on hardware and computer specs to go and buy a "gaming" computer.

In the end it comes down to is FUN and how you experience fun.
For a console user this can be different then a pc user.

In the end we all like the same thing and that`s playing games.

Split screen co-op!! It's so fun to do that in consoles. PC is fun for single players only.

Does saying that I don't have to listen to 10 year olds on headsets because they play on console and I don't count as positive? Just kidding. Consoles are much better for anything from a third person perspective, IMO, the controls are just more intuitive. Fighting games in particular just work best on a console. And waiting for an install to finish positively makes my soul bleed, even knowing the texture quality is worth the wait.
Plus, with a console, you never have to do epic battle to get something to work, it either does or doesn't.

I guess my fav. thing about consoles is they mean that, for the most part, little kiddies aren't in my PC games..

Lol, I agree about that epic battle. I have been having and epic battle to stop gettting the CryEngine 2 games to bluescreen on my computer by crashing the display driver. I think the only solution is a reinstall of Windows, because I have tried everything else.

With Consoles, you have no epic battle to get your games working correctly.

Not to be negative, but is it a bad time to point out that Split Screen won't be making an appearance in Crysis 2? Not to argue that split screen is fun to have when it is available.

In my case it was making DX11 run on Vista64. That was a pain, all for marginal improvements. Plus, if my PC decides it wants to splodify, I'm out a LOT more time, effort, and cash than a console owner.

Yeah, Crysis 2 won't have split-screen capabilities.
