Conventional weapons here. Rather partial to the Brush Gun for that up close and personal feeling. :celebration:

Conventional weapons. Me like shooting bullets and watching body parts fly. Ash & goo piles aren't the same.

I do like the lulz of some unarmed and explosive weapons, too. Love it when bodies sail through the air for long distances with Pushy/Gauss or grenades.

Conventional weapons, nice and simple. They're also better than EW and Explosives as a whole, IMO.

Nothing beats a good old fashioned gun. They've been around a long time and will continue.

I like dissolving things with high powered lasers and smashing things in the face with a Ballistic fist..

I'm a laser fanatic.
But I do like the lasers in the old games better when they cleaved people in half rather than just turn everyone into ashpiles. (Though that was possible too.)
In New Vegas... Nah it's still laser, they're weak as [censored] but I still have my attraction to them.

when in doubt of a of puzzle or enemy...-pulls out Fat Man- BLOW IT THE [censored] UP!! lol nothing makes me smile or brings a tear to my eye when seeing a large mushroom cloud erupt, a lovely flash, the bodies of enemies blown apart and sent into the air and space, and the powerful thundering voice it brings with its shockwave its..-tears up- its beautiful T_T I only wish they fixed that Demo Expert bug and gave it a nice graphic added to it, like the cloud ring that surrounds teh stem :3 XD

I've always been a Guns fan, my favorite being a fully upgraded (including scope) hunting rifle.

I'm almost ashamed to say I really did enjoy an energy weapons playthrough where I used pretty much just two weapons, the unique plasma rifle as a bread-and-butter weapon and a fully upgraded (again, scoped) laser rifle for sniping

perhaps as a distant third favorite combat style was a stealthy, im-waiting-for-you-to-round-the-corner-and-then-stealth-crit-you-with-a-sledgehammer-to-the-face playthrough I did in Fallout 3 but have been unable to recreate that in FNV yet. As a brief off-topic aside, the most fun I had in F3 was stealth-boying it into Paradise Falls and killing everyone with my trusty sledgehammer without alerting a single person. But anyway, overall Guns are my favorite

it looks like most seem to fall for the good old fashiond conventional ammo and tbf i can blame ya. fully kitted out hunting rifle(scope included) FTW altho if [censored] is starting to get tooooooo tough then alien blaster those fools away but still we be needing more votes to decide which is more popular

The Laser RCW alone makes me switch from conventional guns to energy weapons.

Yup, RCW+ and AER14 are damn fine laser weapons but the rest are :yucky: .

I love throwing knives and the Ballistic fist. I kill anything I hit with these two weapon types. I kill Deathclaws with one punch on very hard mode and hardcoe mode activated. I've taken out Caesar's entire legion with only my bare-hands (and the ballistic fist), my wife was like "WOW, that's a damn shame, you need to put that on Youtube and show players how powerful your characters are; that's crazy!" I just laughed my a** off. I punched the kid doing push-ups so hard he slid along the ground up the first part of the ramp/hill leading to Caesar's tent (no lie).

Nothing like either blowing off limbs with guns or just punching em in the face with my fists.

OMG conventional ammo still winning altho recently pew pew the AER14 prototype and the YCS/186 are really making energy weapons worth using

Lasers all the way. Like the finger of an angry god smiting my enemies, my laser is my constant companion. There is nothing quite as pleasant as standing in my power armor with a good laser rifle, melting the face of anyone who dares shoot at me or my companions. (Literal face melting, of course. GO FOR THE EYES!)
