Favourite Unique Weapon? : Fallout: New Vegas

I dislike unique weapons since they can't be modded.

My favorite weapon is a silenced sniper rifle.

Who cares that your Gobi and YER/136 (or whatever) can one-shot one Deathclaw when the rest of his friends are gonna rip you to shreds. The silenced sniper rifle will happily let you pick off all of them with 1-2 shots to the head a piece.

It have been a while this actually matters.
I mean even in death wind carven they can't really find me if I did a sneak one shot. Other areas are open enough for long range shot.

The gobi is sweet looking.. that or the Unique gauss rifle.. i cant remember name its very random lol

Here is the thing...I don't like All American.

I would even say it svcks: no Handload round like other rifles, low damage per shot and.........semi-automatic?

With all of those uber guns, there is one that I always carry: Sturdy Caravan Shotgun. It isn't an end-game gun, but it is almost always my fall back, always trustworthy, usually used to wipe out the lowest common denominator due to fairly rapid fire and decent spread. I use it far more than pistols. It is one gun I carry with me throughout the game.

I found a sonic weapon that does very little damage to most things, but massive damage to robots and power armor.

would that be the paladin toaster? also have the "pushy" glove, ratslayer, all american, maria, annabelle, the plasma rifle (q whatever), the laser rifle one (aer14 prototype), love and hate (spiked knuckles), Cram opener, that gun, Nelphi's, Golden gloves, humble cudgel, Blade of the east, Mercy, chopper, gobi scout rifle, dogtagfist, dinner bell, and the tesla cannon, hands down fav. so far is Pushy followed by ratslayer

Lucky with .357 JHP and Fast Shot at high levels can unload 6 powerful DT-lowering crits to the head in rapid succession. Mommy deathclaw gone in one VATS series. ;-)

And it looks seriously cool. Not many pistols have %crit multipliers. Lucky and That Gun both have x2.5 which is half of Sniper's bonus and one of the highest among guns. Amazing that's still my go-to gun up close even very late in the game.

Nope, was using it at unarmed 28. I am now concentrating on my Unarmed at each level up as Pushy is complete kick ass, and the more I improve on it's use the better. A very handy weapon for hardcoe as I don't need to carry much ammo with pushy in my inventory, I only carry the Gobi Sniper and a 10mm SMG for mid range battles.
So far Pushy and Gobi Campaign Sniper Rifle are my top two, they will probably remain there as well.

The Ballistic Fist from the BoS shop. I randomly decided to test it when I was in Jacobstown, so I saved the game, snuck up behind Marcus, and punched him in the ass. The way he flew a good ten yards, in a perfectly upright position until he hit the ground, made it my instant bestest friend ever.

Ballistic Fist is not a unique weapon. Caesar's bodyguards have them too.

Started to prefer Mysterious Magnum to Lucky.
Mysterious packs a meaner punch and have a faster reload time. Playing a 1 agi char, that means quite abit

Other than than i love the Gobi weapon. i'm using a mod that allows me to mod several unique weapons including adding a silencer to the Gobi rifle.

Not unique, but the 12.7 mm machine gun i found in a death claw cave. Got a silencer for it at gun runners and the ncr guy at macarens sells plenty of ammo once you access his secret stash. Have most the weapons listed in the thread. Havent seen it mentioned but you get the hunting shotgun "dinner bell" by completing the final quest for the chick in the sewers fighting arena.
