Given the big "(SPOILERS)" in the title, my first thought is: There's a Cheats, Hints, and Spoilers section for a reason. :D

It was a hard choice between 11 and 34. The story of 11 is what put if ahead of the dangers and plunder of 34.

nv and f03 vaults are almost a dead heat, but the story of vault 11 is the best I ve been apart of.

born in a vault or no, I think they should have several vaults in each game for "mindless exploration" Vaults are a big part of fo so I think it would be wrong not to have them in the games.

I have not been to Vault 11 yet, but so far I like Vaults 3 and 22. The one with plants was awesome the first time I walked through it.
I need to check out the armory to though don't think I ever found that one either.

Vault 11

New Vegas

I don't get the point of the third question. In Fallout 2 your not a Vault Dweller and same with Tactics. I am not happy with the number of Vaults in New Vegas. It just does not make sense to me. The numbering of the Vaults is also a bit odd. As in I always thought low numbered Vaults in the West and they get higher in number as you move East. There are also only 122 vaults so having so many in the Mojave just seems wrong. So many in Fallout 3 as well to me seems wrong. They are just their for fan service. In the first two Fallouts, there are only a small number of Vaults and one was just a show model. Vault 13 and Vault 15 in Fallout and Fallout 2. L.A Vault and Vault 12 in Fallout. Vault 8 in Fallout 2.

You d think the bigger the city the more vaults in the area. These games don t even have 10. Does it really seem like too many??

I think the vaults were a fantastic creation, a true vision of a potentially apocalyptic future. They're scary and amazing all at the same time.

But.. I dont like them. They make me feel sick and weird inside. And more often than not after a while one dark dank corridor starts to look very much like another, I lose my sense of direction and end up spending several hours in this nightmarish repetition of walking around,, and around,,, and around, in giant monotonous circles.

I havent explored/found all of them yet, the fiend one was easiest, the plant one was creepy as hell, and the one full of ghouls/radiation is just pissing me off..

Vault 22

Had a blast throwing dynamite into the foilage to rile up the spores to kill them.

Vault 11, it is just the creepiest Vault and most novel idea for them I've seen; I love it.

On topic of the Vaults, there are too many, Las Vegas doesn't need five Vaults, they are designed for paying customers and not evacuation centers; building them away from major population centers actually makes more sense.

Yeah, it would be cool...
But they're not exactly going to give you a warm welcome so how do you get in?

1. Vault 21 - First Vault a character could have six in, and according to Mr New Vegas, "Everything is better when you experience it in a Vault." lol

2. I preferred the Vaults in Fallout 3. Some of them required you use your Pip-Boy light, a lot were darker, dirtier, and, "Gaaaaaaarrrryyyyyy." <-- Nuff said.

3. Of course I like them. Although I have to confess that there's something about having played Fallout 3 that gives you a fresh appreciation for Vault Dwelling. I think gamers coming into the series via New Vegas are missing that quirky detail, however short the experience was - or contrived - it had a lasting impact. Even going from 101 to the Museum of Technology and taking the tour there - you see the Vault in a totally different way. IMO
