At some point or another, we've all done it. Some like to do it all the time, others only sparingly, but without a doubt, Roleplaying can be quite fun in Oblivion.
Sure, you can play the game full-on, non-stop, bouncing from dungeon to cave, sleeping only when you absolutely have to, carrying only the vitals for an adventuring lifestyle.

But what about buying a house? Reading a book? Staring in wonder at the setting sun over the ocean off Anvil?

So, vote and post, how do you (and your character), chill out and relax?

Reading, exploring, kicking back with a Cyrodillic Brandy, my character Arkady does it all.

My character recently spend a few in-game years in Jail. He does that from time to time.

For real relaxation, he dives into the Shivering Isles. Nothing specific, he just likes the people there.
But soon, back to his criminal empire.

My character is very vain, so I love taking screen shots! (With pose mods, which is why i voted for Else (Mod) please specify)

I either hang around in my house writing books(obviously you can I just pretend) polishing armor hanging with his servant or going to a place to eat or maybe taking a walk or riding his horse

Well Sally-Anne loves shopping and then calling for a drink or two.

I love beach life, so my character has to love it too.

At sunset the view over Abeccan (sp) is beautiful.

So I built my house there.

I take scooma, thnere's no better way to relax (just kidding)

I was tempted to vote for Shivering Isles (mostly Bliss) or the Arcane University, but I realized what I love doing in either of those places, or anywhere, really, is picking flowers. (Weird, because I could care less about flowers in real life.) So I voted for Else (Vanilla).

I like to wander around the country side and collect alchemical ingredients.

Also, sometimes go Goblin hunting in a cave (Fatback is a favorite) with a bow and arrow (even for characters that don't focus on marksmanship).

Wander over to Imperial Bridge Inn, and spend some time there. Because of its idyllic location, the 'cosiness' of its inn, and its company (Lithnilian - good to have company other than a guard for once). It's actually one of my favourite locations in the game.

My latest character often disappears for a couple of days, usually hiking in the Jerall Mountains or other remote, inhospitable locations. Alternatively, booking into an expensive hotel or relaxing at home.

Depends on how I am role playing, but usally takes form of organising my gear and picking up unique decorations for my favourite home.

you dont know relaxation until you'v sat upon the biggest clifftop mushroom in mania with a few bottles of mead and several unread books on a sunny morning.

I voted sit at home and read a book. But that′s just one thing. While in Bruma I enjoy an evening at the Tap and Tack, or maybe Jerall View. A stroll through the woods is also nice.

I found this really beautiful lake while playing as Ajani, my Khajiit character, so he usually goes there after a mission to swim and enjoy the scenery. Not to mention to the place is filled with Sacred Lotus', Water Hycanith and Nightshade which helps him make poison for his lovely arrows.

I like to go for a swim at times, and there's this amazing place in Mania I can't remember. I like to go camping in Bandit camps or if I'm in SI, a Zealot/Heretic camp.
I like to wander the Colovian area and visit Skingrad for a nice night and dinner
Forest Strolls are nice and I particurally(sp) like the forest around Bravil.
Enjoying the sights and sounds is all great, but I love to get close to the fireplace, and enjoy a book or 2. (I just wish time passed while you read)
