After I left Raven Rock, Fawkes was my only friend.

We went to the riverboat landing (Point lookout, GoTY) and the ships owner told me to leave him behind. I did. I finished everything in the lookout and when I returned he was gone. He wasn't in Vault 83, or at the Raven Rock. Far as I know he didn't wander a little way off, so can someone tell me where he may have gone?

P.S. Xbox, so no computer cheats.

Check the Museum of History in DC. Thats where he goes.

I don't know, but at least in my game Fawkes died in his cell like any mutant abomination should :goodjob:

Each follower, when dismissed, returns to their default location. For Fawkes, it's right outside Underworld. If you have good karma and no other follower, reacquiring him should be a simple matter.

Actually, not all followers go to the default location... Fawkes goes to Underworld (as you said), Dogmeat goes to Vault 101, and as far as I know, that's it.

All followers have default fired locations:

Fawkes- Underworld
Dogmeat- outside Vault 101
Charon- the 9th Circle
Jericho- Moriarty's Saloon (or outside the ruins if blown up)
Clover- Eulogy's Pad
RL-3- Canterbury Commons
Star Paladin Cross- Citadel
Butch- Muddy Rudder

If they're not there after they've been fired, either they haven't had time to get there (they take a very long route and can take months to get there) or they've died along the way.

Ha at least your lived that long my fawkes was dead when I went to his cell I have no Idea how he died In there.
