The game is now much more teh way i thought it but to my mind enemies still are very low class maybe you have another suggestion?


Try updating the NPC levels on the save with Wrye Bash. Right-click on the save > Update NPC Levels.

Some notes:

09 UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp [Version 1.0.0] - Skip and use the Bashed Patch tweak instead.
0A Oblivion Citadel Door Fix.esp - Skip. In all probability not needed.

++ MOBS SI.esp [Version 1.2.2a] - Consider switching to OMOBS instead as that is more congruent with FCOM as OOO uses it. Use the OMOBS for Cyrodiil as well.

0D MOBS SI Optional Combat Settings.esp [Version 1.2.2a] - Skip, you already have those settings via OOO and Fran's, I believe.

24 Oblivion WarCry EV.esp [Version .] - Odd. No version number? Switch to the updated one you'll find highest in the opening post anyway.
25 FCOM_WarCry.esp [Version 0.9.9MB3] - As above.

++ OOO-Container_Trap_Instant_Effects.esp [Version 1.33] - Skip, no need.

++ Francesco's Slower skills x1.5.esp - Skip or don't use both this and:
++ Level_Rates_Modified_x4.esp - Skip or don't use the one above. I'd recommend switching to Progress when it comes to controlling skill rates.

++ OOO-Magic_Script_Effect_Fix.esp [Version 1.33] - Skip, not needed.

It's one of the http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17621: "Strategy Master's OBSE scripts to set the FransMenu to use OBSE calls and an .ini file. Should help stablize the menu system."

My mistake.. I didn't make myself clear.

I know what the plugin does in relation to Fran.

But you can change Fran (without that plugin) in the game via the console "startquest FranMenu", it is this and what it does to FCOM I am uncertain about.

Ah, OK. Someone else must take that one as I'm not using Fran's, so not sure what you can change via the menu. Don't think I've ever seen any warnings against using the menu options with FCOM, though, so I'd guess it's safe.

Quick question; I just finished off my fresh installation of FCOM, and rebuilt my bashed patch. Having installed COBL, and also Item Exchange, I made sure to leave these deactivated, and instead merge them in the patch.

So, they seem to be merged. I got a few +'s in my list, a few dots (COBL Races TNR), but I seem to be stuck with the TamrielTravellersItemsNPC.esp. It has a Deactivate tag, along with a NoMerge tag. What should I do with this? Keep it activated anyway?

This was up in the Wrye Bash thread a while ago:

I had that problem too. Corepc put a NoMerge tag in the esp description that seem to override the ones added by BOSS. Just delete the tags from the esp description windo in Wrye Bash, click the save button just above the window that shows the BOSS tags and then crack on as normal.

EDIT: Nvm, I just deleted all the tags, ran BOSS again, and I'll just use the four tags suggested: Relev, Delev, Filter & Deactivate

IIRC, the others are the same as BOSS gives, so either remove the NoMerge tag - or remove all of them and let BOSS handle the tags on its own. Not using it so I can't double check.

Alright, right now I'm rebuilding with the aforementioned tags. Any problems, I'll just rebuild without the Deactivate tag. Thanks! ^^

Has for game not starting up you are missing the Frans File has boss log stated.

You need to reinstall Frans and select those during install.

You need to uninstall frans anyways to remove Frans New Creatures Addon which you do not use with FCOM. Do not select it during the install once again. Read the First Post once again, Quick Start Secion you will find updated frans install notes.


Remove Cheat Bob Armory

Make Sure you have http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/875610-oblivion-warcry/page__st__40__p__16271741&#entry16271741 and http://www.4shared.com/file/REdXF9Ks/FCOM_WarCry109.html![/

Remove more passive wildlife. Slight bug fixed next MMM Release

MMM Gems & Gems Dust is not used, OOO contains Geomancy (Read the OOO pdf)

Remove the Runeskullts loot and loot G&GD and use only the Loot OOO version

Rebuild Patch

When I played OOO only, chasing deer wouldn't put me into battle mode. However, with FCOM, deer running will put me into battle mode. 70% of time I hear battle music, but i never find out where it is coming from. Is there anything I could do to let animals quietly run away?

On second thought, I'm a vampire now.... does that affect anything?

Okay, the MOBS topic is confusing me, I must admit. The OP instructs, when installing Francesco's mod, to use MOBS, but if FCOM uses OMOBS, what's the point? (I'm assuming the Francesco ESPs that come with FCOM are applying OMOBS stats.)

Also, is the running backwards script part of Francesco's MOBS integration, or will it still be enabled if I reinstall it without MOBS? It just seemed a tad glitchy.

On second thought, I'm a vampire now.... does that affect anything?


No idea, really. Checking in TES4Edit it is MMM that handles Deers in FCOM. But I never play as a vamp, never chase deers and I have music turned off so I'm not much help... Guess you must wait for Corepc or someone else to check it out.

Hi!

I've installed FCOM, run BOSS and bashed a patch. Everything's going fine: except that each and every goblin in the first dungeon is carrying a goblin trophy worth ~21,000 gold. It's a bit odd and certainly economy breaking. I think the trophies are coming from WarCry, but I'm not sure why there's so many. Any ideas?

I thought that issue was fixed earlier this year. And, yes, they're from WarCry.

13 Oblivion WarCry EV.esp [Version 1.09]
14 FCOM_WarCry.esp [Version 0.9.9MB3] - Update to Version 0.9.9MB5, you'll find it highest up in the opening post.

Also, make sure you're using Wrye Bash 287 and are following the Quick Bash Check Guide in the OP.

EDIT: I just checked FCOM_WarCry.esp [Version 0.9.9MB5] in the CS and the Goblin Trophy is in two leveledlists, in both cases with just a 3% chance of getting it, so updating FCOM_WarCry.esp and rebuilding the Bashed Patch should fix it. They should also have zero value.

EDIT 2: On another note, you should update:

1F Mart's Monster Mod - Diverse WaterLife.esp [Version 3.7b3p3]

to http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1105791-relzmartsmonstermod37b3-public-release-3-relz/page__view__findpost__p__16187398. The earlier version had some annoying issues with NPC's not following their pathgrids etc.

What I really need to know is if FCOM is now rebalancing the Fran items with OMOBS. That would allow me to install Francesco without MOBS support and get rid of the moving backward script. I recognize the need to nerf moving backward but I think it goes a bit too far and there's a lag with moving forward after you've moved backward that feels unnatural.

If not I'll probably stop using Francesco, which it sounds like is not all that uncommon. Why do some FCOM users skip over it anyway?

Edit: Okay, it would seem a lot of my difficulty stemmed from not only Fran's running backward script being too intense, but it stacking with the OMOBS one. Yikes! I really recommend you advise all your users who use Francesco to download the No MOBS Run Limit patch from here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17621 The patch is bashable too. Remember earlier in the thread I was complaining about a speed debuff making me backpedal in full speed? It's probably due to how old the script is in Fran's.

I was just looking for the latter, as I was seeing fish on land and knew there was a fix somewhere.

You were right, updating FCOM WarCry and rebashing fixed my trophy problem.
