I assume that with a full FCOM setup, EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer4FCOM.esp replaces Francesco's EVE esp as well, right?

Just wanted to be sure and the readme didn't help, thanks :)

Yes, except you need FransFemale.esp as well. The http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1064803-relz-evehgec-eyecandy-variants-for-stock-and-mods-relz/ OP has install instructions.

Just one small thing. I like MMM's Resized Races, but it seems to not be showing up in-game even though the esp is merged into the Bashed patch. At the moment all NPCs seem to be vanilla sizes.

You really need to run your load order through BOSS has You have MMM.esm loading before alot of other things that should be loading before it like the OOO.esm and Frans.esm. Suprised it is not crashing this way

You are using Cobl Races Balanced whiich also changes the size of Vanilla Races has well. So this is overwriting MMM Resized Races settings.

Best to just drop MMM Resized Races.. And You need to make sure that Cobl Races Balanced is selected both Under Merge Patches and Under Races Patches section when building bash. Else it will not merge correctly. This is due to how Cobl Races Balanced is built needing both a esm and esp in order to work.

Thanks CorePC,

To be honest I ran BOSS multiple times, but I have adjusted the load order now.
Thanks also for the advice on Races.

It's the first time I've ever used FCOM and its been quite a daunting experience, although rewarding in the end.

Once again I have to give huge thanks to people like Arkngt & CorePC who patiently give so much help to others.

Hi! I've just reinstalled FCOM and now I'm having constant and random CTD's...I've updated NPC's in Wrye Bash, created the bashed patch, saven in a separated cell, waited for 10 days...everything that it says in the manual. My load order (BOSS'ed) is:

I see no obvious suspected culprits, although I'm not familiar with all mods you're using. Make sure the MMM.bsa is renamed to FCOM_Convergence_MartsMonsterMod.bsa. If that's not it, try cutting back to a core FCOM install before adding other mods, e.g. just the base FCOM install.

Generally, I recommend installing FCOM incrementally because it's difficult to trouble shoot when you start out with lots of mods.

Do you have more details on the CTDs? Are they completely random? Did you start a new game or did you add FCOM to an ongoing game?

0F UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp [Version 1.0.0] - Use the Bashed Patch tweak instead an save a slot.
10 Oblivion Citadel Door Fix.esp - Not needed. (Or, rather, only use if you notice that it's needed.)

OK, I downloaded the optimized Francesco BSA, and renamed it, but I didn't renamed MMM's one. I'll test it now and see if that was the problem :)

Hopefully that's the issue. If adding FCOM to an ongoing game you should wait for a respawn (i.e. 4 days if on default) and also update NPC levels in that save - but it seems you already have done so.

Hopefully that's the issue. If adding FCOM to an ongoing game you should wait for a respawn (i.e. 4 days if on default) and also update NPC levels in that save - but it seems you already have done so.

Anyways, it seems that was the issue...the crashes have gone in a playthough where I should have had at least 2 or 3 of them. Only problem now is that I got my ass pwned by some sort of odd skeleton in full metal armor :_(

Just thought folks would like to know that the optimized Frans resources linked in the OP have now been uploaded to Nexus, where they won't be subject to the whims of Megaupload and it's random policy of spewing forth spam and pop-ups at people who download from there.

In the process I also ran the newest PyFFI on the meshes to pick up on optimizations that weren't available the last time, like collision. All of the textures in both files have been optimized for the proper compression types as well.

If the OP could update the links to point here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34830 that would be appreciated. I've also given Corepc edit access to the entry should he need it.

MMM-Cobl overwrites quite a lot from FCOM_Convergence.esp if loaded after, like for example MQ15XivilaiAnaxes "Anaxes" [CREA:0005E1DC who loses a MMM Boss Token and a FCOMWarCry0001UniqueItems [LVLI:0A000806], but gets two cobTiDaedraDrop75 [LVLI:070041C1] instead.

But if it loads before most creatures will get FCOM drops instead of COBL ones.

Thoughts?

About to hopefully switch from 360 to PC and I know FCOM is really cool and makes the game way better but just watching the trailer and looking at all the stuff involved in it and it scares the crap out of me. I feel like I'll just get lost in all the new stuff and not like level my character correctly or know what the heck I'm doing. I've already played the game a ton on 360 so I have no problem modding it when I get the PC version. Any advice?

If you are new to mods start with just OOO or OOO+MMM.
You'll get most of the contents anyway and it will be much easier to install.

Okay thanks. Is there a guide to installing just those two? I know they work alone or part of fcom but I don't recall seeing an ooommm thread. Does installing just them add new armor and weapons? Do they work with the deluxe goty edition that has SI and all the plugins? Sorry for all the questions. I just wanna make sure that I do this right and I've looked up mods on uesp and a lot of them are like 3 years old.

There is no OOO+MMM thread, but separate OOO and MMM threads.
If you want to use both OOO and MMM you need to use the Mart's Monster Mod for OOO.esm file, the MMM thread is probably the best place to ask for more details.

Ok thanks. Ya I know about OOO changing the game I just wasn't sure if the FC ones added the new armor and weapons. I just wannna make sure that I won't get lost and like level my character up wrong and screw myself when I get to a high level. Also wanna make sure its compatible with SI and all the other offiucial plugins I'm getting right off the bat.

You will have to wait on the Next Cobl, OOO, MMM, FCOM Updates for these issue to get fixed along with most of Cobl/OOO/MMM/FCOM Cobl Related stuff And Boss token has well added to MQ Npc and Creatures has needed.. Once again all part of the next updates due out soon hopefully..

Hello. Just registered to say first of all thank you for such a brilliant summary in the opening post! :) I managed to install FCOM with minimal difficulties thanks to it.

Sadly, something is going wrong during my testing of it, and I hope someone here would shed some light on it. So here goes..

When I use the test module (300_test.esp) my game crash in cell 26 if I am level 13. I have tried many times and it occurs maybe ~30% of the times I load it. The crash is instant, sometimes in the beginning of the loading bar, sometimes in the end of it. But when it crashes, it always does so in the loading screen. When it doesnt crash, everything seems to be working just fine with the enemies. The enemies there are mostly equipped skeletons and such things.

I went through the test mod on several levels, and on say, level 1 and 3, I can pass through all 29 cells. But when I hit lvl 13, it occurs. I have only tested briefly to play oblivion "the normal way" and FCOM seems to have installed flawless. Everything works. But thanks to this crash in the test mod, I can only assume something isnt right :S

What is also odd, is that this guy also experience this exact same thing (also cell 26) : http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/232437-fcom-crash-300testcell26-hates-me/

Can anyone of you help me out with this?

I installed FCOM and did everything 100% as said in the opening post. I have enough experience with earlier versions FCOM so I could follow it kinda well with theese new components. I think I did everything right, and I have went over it countless of times too, in vain, trying to see if I forgot something.

If someone could spot something wrong with this installation then please say so.

I've actually never run the 300_test.esp so I guess I'll have to check it out. Your load order looks fine and I was going to recommend double checking that the MMM.bsa was renamed correctly, but that's apparently not it. Have you followed http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/convergence.html to get Fran's bsa loaded?

EDIT: It works fine for me, with my Lvl 21 char. And Cell 26 has indeed Undead spawns, so Shivering Zombie Master from MMM, Boneflayers from WarCry etc. I'd double check that the Fran's bsa is loading correctly as said. Not sure how you have installed WarCry - are you using the bsa or the default install? In short, follow the "required" part if using the test BSA's. Also, if using a body replacer you need to use Mart's Monster Mod - Zombies for Body Meshes.esp. That's all I can think of ATM.

BTW, I thought the test cells would be safe: "The spawns are behind an invisible barrier so you can examine the creatures/NPCs behavior, faction aggression, AI, etc. safely." But ranged attacks definitely works - my char was hit by both arrows and target spells.

EDIT 2: A minor note:

3D ArmamentariumLL4OOO.esp [Version 2.01] - You can merge this in the Bashed Patch and keep unchecked.
