I previously installed FCOM using a roll-up omod version, but was faced with persistent CTDs that I couldn't resolve.

remove attack and hide medium (test without that)

rebuild bashed patched

else load order looks fine to me


You should also be using FCOM_LothsBluntWeapons.esp since you're using Loth's Blunt Weapons for NPCs.

I added FCOM_LothsBluntWeapons.esp AND removed Mart's Monster Mod - Additional Enemy NPC Vars.esp

bossed, repatched, and still have a CTD, at the loading screen...



Crash at which loading screen ? On startup make sure all bsa are named properly

Or During Save load ?

I renamed the MMM.bsa to "FCOM_Convergence_MartsMonsterMod.bsa" and also added it to the Oblivion.ini, I made sure its correct, as I copied it from the first post on this thread


If you renamed the MMM.bsa to FCOM_Convergence_Mart's Monster Mod.bsa <- extacly like that Make sure you include the ' and spaces in the name and the _ has well.

if named this way then you do not need to edit the Oblivion.ini, the game will launch it this way.

So undo your edit to the Oblivion.ini

Did you download and install Frans BSA and have them launching correctly has well ?

Did you reinstall any UI Mods that you may have been using..?

I renamed the .bsa back and undone the oblivion.ini


come to think about it I had Darns UI installed before... I'll check to make sure... I haven't reinstalled it yet... let me try that, and I'll edit this post......

Okay that worked... backed up and rebuilt my oblivion.ini, and made the proper .bsa edits to it, and it starts up now

I updated WarCry and Interchange, removed Waterlife completely, and removed the dupe MOBS combat file, but I'm still having the same problems as I did with my last install. The game sometimes locks when pressing "New" or "Load" at the title screen, and the game also tends to lock when combat is starting. I still wasn't able to get into coc testinghall (again, it freezes) but I made it to the first fight during the tutorial dungeon... I guess that's some progress. : /

Try starting a new game with just Oblivion.esm to ensure that it's not an issue with the game install/drivers etc. If it works, try starting a new game with just OOO. If it works - well, you get the idea. Basically, you need to pinpoint the issue and that's easiest to do if installing incrementally IMO - if starting out with lots of mods it gets harder.

Try deleting the Oblivion.ini in My Documents/My Games/Oblivion and let the game generate a new one on startup.

Check that you have the bsa's and that you're following the instructions to get them loaded.

Also,

21 Oblivion WarCry EV.esp [Version .] - Weird version "number" here. I get [Version 1.09] when using that version, which is the one you should use with:

I tried redownloading the file from 4shared (using the link from the warcry thread), but the version number still isn't appearing when I list my mods. Where did you get yours? I will try selectively activating each component and rebuilding my bashed patch to see where the problem lies....

Weird. I think the 4shared upload is the only one available. I just redownloaded/reinstalled and get [Version 1.09].

One thing that wouls have been awesome was to change the WarCry bosses and set items so that they were truly unique, insteaded of coming from the leveled lists.
Ever since I met one of the little buggers (Bishobosh?) three times in one gaming session I've played without WarCry.
Would have been great of there bosses and unique items were hand placed instead or if they were removed from the leveled lists once spawned. But I guess the former is too much work to be worth it and the latter is not possible.
Or maybe just make them rarer? Last time I used WarCry (two years ago?) I felt WarCry dominated too much.

The description of Oblivion Warcry 1.09 says: "Version:. 1.09 ENGLISH" ... notice the extra period after the colon. This is probably why some WB report it wrong.

It could be related to what language the OS is, or the WB or Python version.

I have a question.

Why are there 2 different sets of Goblin Shields?

I am working on a mod for FCOM that adds repeatable quest to the game. I wanted to keep all of this secret but now I need to figure how to make my mod more compatible with FCOM.

The quest goes like this there is a female imperial legion member that gives quest at skingrad castle by selling documents that instruct the player to kill 20 goblins and bring back 20 Goblin shields as proof for 2000g. There is a quest for each tribe. I used MMM tribal shields as the target in the dialogues but now OOO has Goblin shields that conflict with the quest. The player will have 2 different sets of shield and that will be confusing since they will look identical.

How should I solve this?

I want to get rid of the OOO shields but I don't know the best way to do this without ruining FCOM?
I don't know what removing these shields will do. I tried to use the CS to tell me what uses these shields but I got nothing. I wanted to replace the OOO shields with the MMM shields how do I do this what has these shields?

Other than this problem my other quests should work but this mod is still under development.

Hmm...I looked in TES4EDIT and OOO does not change the goblins' inventory, so OOO have vanilla shields and MMM goblins have MMM shields. FCOM_Convergence removes the vanilla shields from the goblins and uses the MMM shields and only the MMM shields are imported to the Bashed Patch.
So FCOM goblins should only have one shield.

Okay, it seems i have a real issue now. Gralak-gro-Bugdump (or something, who knows about Orc names :D) started attacking people in West Weald Inn for no reason. I tried resurrecting him twice (resurrect, disable, enable) and it happened again, the last time town guards joined the fight too. I have OOO disabled in Import Relations and Factions as the instructions say, and BOSS gives no error reports either. I'm not far enough in the main quest that it would be Else's attack either.

Okay, it seems i have a real issue now. Gralak-gro-Bugdump (or something, who knows about Orc names :D) started attacking people in West Weald Inn for no reason. I tried resurrecting him twice (resurrect, disable, enable) and it happened again, the last time town guards joined the fight too. I have OOO disabled in Import Relations and Factions as the instructions say, and BOSS gives no error reports either. I'm not far enough in the main quest that it would be Else's attack either.

His low Responsibility occasionally leads him to try to pickpocket other NPCs in the West Weald Inn. When noticed, he may be attacked by guards and other NPCs, which often leads to his death


None of the FCOM mods affect him what I can see.

I see, never seen that happen before. I just can't beleive i've actually managed to make a working FCOM install after all the horror stories i've heard :D

Lots of people have FCOM running stable. It's a complicated install but not that difficult really - but that depends on how used you are to mods etc. of course. Also, at least some of the horror stories are caused by other mods (or faulty installs of other mods rather) - but the heading is often "FCOM problem" for some reason.

Anyway, your load order looks OK as far as I can tell, except:

2F EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer.esp ...

4A EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer4FCOM.esp
4B EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer for OOO.esp
4C EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer4MMM.esp

You should only use EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer4FCOM.esp - but you need the resources from the others installed.

Does Warcray 1.09 have any special requirements re: FCOM? As in, does it have to be used with FCOM 0.9.9, or can I use it with earlier versions?

Warcry can be used standalone does not need anyother mod to work with it. If going to use with FCOM then you have to use http://www.4shared.com/file/REdXF9Ks/FCOM_WarCry109.html

Warcry EV 1.09 Version is not backward compatible with older version of FCOM and FCOM_Warcry. Because we intergrated alot of features from FCOM_Warcry itself. Scripts Fixes in particular those went into 1.09 version.

Allimir85, you may want to look into dev_akm's Mystic Emporium fix since you have Frostcrag, Orrery, and Battlehorn Castle DLCs. Why that bug never got fixed by UOMP I'll never know, as I'm pretty sure it was documented before Quarn and Kivan quit maintaining the UOP,USIP,UOMP patches.

I know that part of the greatness of FCOM is its modular nature, but why not host the pre-packaged components in a torrent somewhere? Having the omods wrapped up together would probably eliminate a great deal of your support work with individual users...

Or you could take it a step further and just decide as a team "Ok, we're only supporting users with SI and all DLC, and our vision for this mod is to use MOBS, BC, and [whatever other mods], etc." I greatly admire the work everyone has done bringing this together... it's just a shame that you're also troubleshooting and testing limitless combinations of other mods on top of the integration stuff.
