wrye bash is "removing empty sublists" on almost everything starting with LL =\
any ideas on how to fix it?


do not use content checker feature of wrye bash

Are you using Item Interchange

Did you happen to tag a mod incorrectly

Post your load order..

And PM me your bash patch details, right after it built, copy and paste that ..that is too huge to post in thread..

some say I could be.

But it just the fact that I see the same things when I use Item Interchange.

And never had a problem with them has I checked the results in bashed patched. But I want to compare your's to mine to be sure.

Got II like, an hour ago, i didnt noticed anything better or weirder to not using it...

shall I take it off, and rebuild patch without content checker?

Okay, question: Came across worn Dwemer armor recently in Fatback Cavern, but a strange little thing happened. When I put it on, it's mesh/texture suddenly vanished! I mean, it was fine when it was on the NPC, and it was fine when I dropped it into the world. But, when I'm wearing it, its completely gone. So, the question... What in Sithis is causing this? :huh:

Some meshes just don't like to be in BSAs. RefScope, Form ID or Beta Comment the armour when it's on the ground to find out which mod it's from. If it's in a BSA unpack it to the correct place in the Data/Meshes folder and see if that helps. I had to do this with the Colovian (Black) Leather Cuirass from Frans.bsa.

Does that matter? I put Sheil's Ornate Obsidian Armour on a male mannequin and it displayed correctly, except for the the fact that it was obvious the armour was female only.

Most armors have two models. One for females, and one for males. If there is only one model set to both, then it doesn't matter. If only one of the settings is filled in, the game will use that for both genders. But if one is entered correctly and the other isn't, or if one of the models that should be there isn't, then the game should give an error for just that gender.

How can I lesser the spawnrates more? I'm using the FCOM lesser spawn plugin but there are still too many spawns for my taste. I'm having like ~20 goblins spawns at small area in some fort, thats just too much. Like closer to vanilla spawns would be nice... If that's possible.

Are you playing has a male or female ?

if female which upperbody / lowerbody are using from eve? E cup or C cup or EBE etc..

did you downloaded all of the eve downloads has well and using Eve fcom plugin?

If male did you download Roberts for OOO?

Just installed FCOM. Works great.

One question:
How has lockpicking been changed? I was unable to pick a very easy lock even though my skill is high enough. When I tried to open the chest it glowed purple.

Purple means you can bash it open.
...and it also mean that you had your weapon drawn. With OOO, you can select between picking the lock, or bashing it, where the former is dependant on your security skill and the latter on your strength. And you select which one to use by drawing your weapon or not.

Also means you can't lockpick it with your weapon out. Put your weapon away and you will be allowed to lockpick it. Do you have Cobl installed? AFAIR, FCOM normally uses OOO's skill-based lockpicking restrictions, which only let you attempt higher level locks at higher skill levels (maybe it's character levels, but either way it's a level restriction). You can turn this on or off easily with the Coble Options widget in your inventory.

Edit: TheNiceOne beat me to it, but now you know about Cobl too!

How can I lesser the spawnrates more? I'm using the FCOM lesser spawn plugin but there are still too many spawns for my taste. I'm having like ~20 goblins spawns at small area in some fort, thats just too much. Like closer to vanilla spawns would be nice... If that's possible.


Try using the FCOM_SpawnRatesStronger plug-in found in the FCOM optionals folder.
It decreases spawn rates significantly and you wont be molested by mudcrabs, rats and wolves every 20 feet.
You'll find enemies where you'd expect to find them, but do be aware the plug-in does exactly what it says.

I just encountered a NPC whose dead body was unselectable- no identification or inventory access but was grab-able. http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/3275/unsectable1.jpg This was a vampire I killed in Fort Redman using Light of Dawn. Haven't seen this issue before and could access all the other dead foes in Redman. I tried with/without a equipped weapon, beating on the corpse and casting various spells at it. The yellow/gold shader around the body is Supreme Magicka's Detect Magic Items spell.

Otherwise, Fort Redman was a very tough and rewarding dungeon! :)

Here is another question/issue I posted in the previous thread that didn't get any response (I know dev_akm is not around atm):
Just in case this hasn't yet been reported, I've encountered an issue with items appearing spontaneously and duplicating in the inventory of Black Sun type npcs. After returning to the first level of Silorn after getting the Mage's Guild Black Soul gem I saw http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/5769/detectedt.jpg, thanks to SM Detect Magic Item. http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/4354/inventc.jpg is what was in one of their inventories- many Warcry set items and lots of items from the other FCOM mods plus vanilla stuff.

Removing bloat with Bash shows some CLOT bloating in the saves I made after returning to the first level and no bloating in prior saves. I disabled the corpses after noting the form IDs of 3 of the BS corpses: ff456e76, ff456e74, ff456e79.

The Black Sun issue sounds like an old issue with Streamline. Do you have Streamline installed?

If I recall correctly, the problem was that Streamline was "re-killing" already dead NPCs, causing them to spawn new death items. I had thought at the time it could be fixed by removing the "kill" command in the script and relying on the "push" command to knock down the "crucified" corpses.

I do use Streamline, only for very selective purging ie on wait and sleep only- no other features used except SLKillCorpses. Was your suggestion to only use the "push" command ever implemented by anyone? Any pointers would be welcome. :read:

Edit: I have Streamline 3.1 with the patch.

Jaga Telesin (I think I remember that correctly) had left the forums again by the time the issue came up and I don't know whether he has ever been back. I never got to try it myself, but it should be fairly easy. If I recall correctly the push command is already there, so all you'd have to do is try removing the kill command.

I vaguely remember some talk of a problem with Black Sun npcs this past spring. Unfortunately, the board search only lets me search for "Black Sun"- otherwise squawks about sun being a three letter word- and only recent results show up. I have only see the item duplication with Black Sun npcs... lvl 34 PC with a couple thousand kills.

I wouldn't know where to start re fiddling with Streamline, other than adjusting the .ini and don't see any push option there. :confused:

Jaga Telesin hasn't been around since Jan and virtually all his searchable posting is related to Fallout 3...
