FCOM help (sorry if repost)

hey guys, first time to the forums

sorry if this is a noob/repost thread but...i followed the instructions for FCOM exact to the teeth but still get a CTD on start up, meaning i cant even get into the game itself...any other things i can do? i mean like all the patches are up to date, all mods installed exactly as the FCOM instructions tells and i did it three times!!
i know all you ppl are playing the game on FCOM so there has to be a way to get it working...please help!!!

btw installed all options on all 4 major mods on FCOM (OOO, MMM, Francesco's, Warcry)

1. Post your load order.
2. Normally a crash at start up means a missing master.

or could it be that i have the game of the year edition of oblivion, and there are no folders to mesh, texture, sound and etc. instead everything is in a .bsa format...so if all the regular files structure is in form of .bsa instead of folders how do i install the mods then?

FYI: all the game's original mesh/texture/voice etc. content is loaded in the .bsa file format, so there are no folders for meshes, textures etc. So your Game of the Year edition is running just fine.

I am assuming you BOSS'ed your load order, and followed what it tells you about missing / incorrect stuff, and corrected that.

Delete your Oblivion.ini file (possibly in C:\My Games\Oblivion\ folder), and try to start the game.

deleting the .ini didnt work...and yea nothing on wrye bash comes up pink or red so i assume im not missing anything T_T
o and the CTD occurs not when i start the game but when i try to start a new game or load a saved game file, if that helps

You need to update to UFCOM since you are using MMM 3.7b3p3 Version once again.

yea well if i turn BOSS on the load order would be different from what the expanded load order says on the FCOM home page, so i disabled it for this purpose and the load order i posted is the exact order i got from wrye bash...

the game crashes also when i enable BOSS anyway

i updated with the uFCOM patch and it still doesnt work OMG!! T_T but wait, do i need a clean install and reinstall on everything for uFCOM to work? or should i just wait for the next release on FCOM lol...

Question does the crash happening when you start a new game ?

Did you build your bashed patch correctly

did you download all the required resource's,

did you rename MMM.bsa has needed, do you have Frans.bsa loaded correctly.

Did you verfiy that vanilla work's fine, no other mods.

If you find FCOM too hard to setup then think about using OOO/MMMforOOO instead

While the link you have is still valid, it is a bit dated.

Go to the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1143831-relz-fcom-convergence-and-ufcom/ and follow the instructions in the first post as CorePC has already told you to do.
About half way down the post is "Recommended install order:".
Read the entire post twice. Then follow the install guide. USE BOSS to sort your load order even though it differs from the order described on the FCOM page.
