FCOM leveling advice?

Post » Sun May 29, 2011 12:57 am

Hey everyone,

I just installed FCOM for the first time and I'm having lots of trouble finding places to level - could anyone give me some hints as to any dungeons/caves that may be good to get started with? I'm also using Oblivion XP leveling.

Fort Ash
Fort Empire
Fort Coldcorn
Fyrelight Cave
Fort Chalman
Fort Urasek
Fort Magia
Sideways Cave
Shadow's Rest Cavern
Fatback Cave

That should get you started. I will keep thinking :)

Perfect, thanks! Should be a huge help, really appreciate it.

Edit: Fatback cave was a really great suggestion - it's the only one I've tried so far, but as an archer it was very easy to clear the whole cave (minus the warlord at the end) starting at level 1.

The warlord's easily doable at level 1...

Normally, you should be able to stand on one side of the 'pit' and plug him with as many arrows/spells as it requires, as he's not smart enough to realise he can jump down into the pit and get to you. However, sometimes he will drop down into the pit to kill a rat or crab down there, in which case you can lead him back to the previous level and either squash him with the log trap, if you haven't triggered it, or jump down to the bottom level and shoot him from there - because of the log bridges and the fact that the drop is deep enough to injure him, he will just stand there like a lemon while you kill him.
