A FCOM Mod Pack?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:06 am

I am trying to find a working mod pack and/or a (working)guide for it because I am having a lot of trouble mainly just because of dead links, I was trying to follow FCOM Convergence (http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/convergence.html) when I hit a lot of dead ends and while searching for other links for the download I find newer versions so everything becomes confusing, I tried using a pack like this FCOM pack (http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/2105441/775222/) but it seems after following the (confusing)instructions the game will no longer work.... so I am at the moment going through a clean install and am not going to do anything more, can someone please help me? (By the way I have Oblivion - GoTY Edition)

Follow aniceguy's OMOD installers, http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/995334-mmm-and-fcom-omod-installers

Install OOO + warcry + Frans first, than use his MMM omod than finally use the FCOM omod...

and obviously you have to dl everything he tells you to, make sure to read word for word.

As for mod pack I think this is as good as it gets, cause packaging everything into 1 simple installer would ~ prob over 2-3 gb download

Packs are frowned upon by the modding community because they are often out of date and are (sometimes) made without the creators' consent.

Just follow the instructions in the FCOM thread, they have worked for tens of thousands of other people.

Have you tried Tomlong75210's FCOM install guide? http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/walkthroughs/fcomguide

+1 <-- this suggestion.

It's the best guide around, especially for those who don't know almost everything they need to, to begin with. And, let's face it, that's most of us. :)

edit: I also strongly recommend the BAIN installation procedure, over OBMM. There are good, solid reasons why, as you will discover, should you give it a go. Well worth it, despite a little bit of a learning curve. It actually makes things easier in the long term, and you can - with ease - undo just about anything you've done, which is fantastic for changing your mind, fixing issues, and simply updating mods (which happens a lot... or should, anyway!) ;)

FCOM team does not support Mod Pack or Torrent download.. Since they where not created by team itself.

Has you never know what could have got changed or added or is broken..

use official downloads once again

If you want fcom then follow the guides that have been posted for you..

requesting thread to be closed since answer where giving..
