FCOM Weapons (Issue?)

Hey, I'm using the standard mod set for FCOM as shown on http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/fcominstall.html . After several hours of gameplay, I noticed that vanilla weapons are far more powerful than the weapons that come in those mods (e.g. Fine Iron Shortsword = 16 damage vs. Elmwood Sabre = 6 damage) I would assume that these unique weapons would be stronger than the vanilla weapons. Or is it intended to be like this?

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1115084-relz-fcom-convergence-and-ufcom-66/ has more up-to-date installation instructions for FCOM. Sounds like you're missing OMOBS.

I don't have Elmwood Sabres from FCOM in my game, so I guess it's from Fran's Optional New Items as I'm not using it. Did you choose MOBS during the Fran install?
