a fear

im just hoping this doesnt turn into something similiar to like shadowrun or perfect dark z, redfaction,,.... games that all had plenty of potential but in my opinion its because of the gamer of today they were destined to fail. For some reason the gamer of today is derived toward run and gun mindlessly like a sheep

It's run and gun in a gunfight(strafing, dodging), but that doesn't win you the match. It also depends on your bodytype. A light should use his speed to run n gun or maybe better: hit n run. The heavy is more suitable to lock down areas with his high health and sheer firepower. You can't be constantly on the move because there's a health bar oldskoolstyle(not meant in a negative sense) which means that you'll need a medic anyways. If you want a lot of xp and quick, then you have to complete objectives and stick with you team. Lets say a kill gives you 10 xp. A kill while near teammates might give yoy 20, while completing a main objective gives you 500xp. There are several xp multipliers in effect to encourage people to do the objective, since completing them determines wether you win or lose.

I'm afraid of that too. People now a days like to have quick satisfaction; I pull trigger, easy shot to head, call in heli, nuke, game over in 1:46. It isn't any fun if one can auto win because of the game type. I like it more when you are fighting over that last bomb detonation and with two seconds left in the game you pull one out over a team with a better KD but you still dominated them because of your team work. The clan I play with in MW2 and Black ops work together as a team regardless of game type, and most often we don't lose and everyone has a good KD (If those things matter to you). But I'm afraid this game won't be ADD enough for some and will get tired of playing with others and instead go to a fast twitch ADD type thing where no one can figure out what the other is doing. Here's to hoping :foodndrink:

I thought Regenerating health was a new-ish (as in not old) thing?. So the need for a medic is decreased if you find somewhere to hide.

I was talking about the fact that there's actually a health bar. You still need a medic to get full health.

It seems like the health system is like this:

[.............................][........][........][........][........][........]

The big one you will always have, it will regenerate if you take damage enough to make it drop a little.

See these small ones? They will be permanently gone if you take enough damage, you will need a Medic to get them back.
