At this very point of my life I have resorted to picking away and a few campaignsn (gta4, RDR,) every now and then and playing a little bit of fifa 11, ncaa, and forza. Sadly kinna gets dulled out. and i think to myself maybe it is myself maturing and transforming into a different type of gamer. Seems lately the so called competitive games are not at all too me... either they have no community for you to enjoy them.. or their too easy to enjoy because of no challenge, Operation flashpoint should have never had bots in it.... should have made it a 8v8 pvp game, COD feels like an arcade shooter to me... i can go 30-3 on my first game in 3 months, to me that is just a poor game if its that easy. Halo has added so much to itself that it basically is not the same game, there is no community and it just seems as if everyone is a mindless sheep that only plays matchmaking which i believe is probly the most horrible thing created, why dont games bring back server browsing like the old days : (,,,, last time halo had a community seemed like h2. It has strayed from its nature of being a very basic game. and the games i love dearly seems as if they will never be created again rainbow six 3 and counterstrike,,,.... im very in love with a tactical shooter, i believe they are the best.
So my fear is.... how will this game do. Will it kill itself, will its community uphold, will the customization be too much and be a distraction. will the classes in this game limit its attractiveness to your every day gamer. I know plenty of gamers that just did not get their grits off to team fortress and this game does follow the same gameplay path of teamfortress in similiarities. I love everything I have seen in this game, but not everyone i have realized thinks like me and has the same taste.
There are a few things i have thought of that if anyone knows could they answer them,,..
- will there be server browsing?
- are tattoos a set to a certain scheme, or can you put any tattoo anywhere from the video i saw long ago.. it seems as if their a scheme : (
- this game looks alot like a spray game, the way guns ive seen shoot are more about aim for the upper torso/head and holding the triggers, seems as if theres no worries on the recoil, are all the guns similiar in that manner?
- the lean function is great and i love the idea of it... but is there a way to also move while you lean to adjust your player on the corner in the case of leaning out too far, or do you just automatically pop out of the lean when you move the left thumbstick?
