This is a time period in in the timeline of moddable games that I like to call the Golden Period. It's right after it is publicly known that the game will no longer be receiving regular updates or DLC. Now all outdated and/or obsolete mods can fade away, and we no longer have to worry about any of our favorite mods going out of date or no longer working.

Even if I am a little disappointed about the obvious underwhelming amount of DLC, this is still my favorite time for this game that I have been waiting for for a while now. Surely I'm not the only person with this mindset, am I?

Golden era is better.

I agree. I didn't really know how to put into words what I felt was the best time period of the Elder Scrolls franchise, because I've never really talked about it out loud before. Era is better.

Ah, the issues of being on a PC.
