Fears for 360 : Othor Games

People need to cool it with the "Call of Duty types" There was much more to that game than TDM. I generally always played domination and generally if I initiated conversation, people would talk back and work with me.

I only played Ground War in Black Ops to play Domination, in the end it was the only game-mode I liked, I don't know why.. But I [censored] enjoyed it

Yeah, we might need to cool down with the ''COD-guys'' term, but I use it now that I know what people mean with it, lone wolves mostly

And I never liked the talk in Black Ops nor Modern Warfare 2, always a british kid screaming or cursing, not becuase something happened but becuase he just felt like popping a C-word here, a B-word there, and a F-word somewhere

Ya there is always the cursing 12 year old who shows up in all the time, but I guarantee they will be present in Brink as well. Unfortunately that's just a part of gaming on the 360 and what toggle mute is for.

I think i am set on getting brink for Xbox, but i do have some worries. My first is all the franchises on the system. I see franchises like Halo, COD, and the upcoming Gears of War 3 taking away people from Brink. Another problem is that not many people will try to work together, and just try to earn kills. Finally, i do not see many people using headsets when i play. Will this ruin gameplay or not? Whats the communities thoughts about these things?

Most of my friends are getting BRINK, and they will be on it a lot like me.
If sometimes i'll be playing by myself, i'll go into game chat and try to talk to my teammates.

IMO - I believe Brink will weed out the selfish, poor players who love to spawn camp in games like Black Ops or betray in games like Reach. I mean these guys can't betray, can't spawn kill, can't go lone wolf and lead the stats, and K/D isn't a big stat. On top of all of that, they won't win.

What motivation does a [censored] have to continue playing Brink if all of that is taken away from him?

Also, just make some good friends and stick together. Also hopefully some people here will form some groups. :tops:

Agree wholeheartedly. Although I do believe the selfish players will still play Brink and try to find ways to circumvent "team play" Luckily, those are the players who will almost always find themselves on the bottom of the pile. Also, I'm hoping to find some like minded xbox players to add to my friends list.

The best thing about BRINK is that there is no voice-chat on as default, they'd have to join up with you through the XBOXLIVE party function or the fireteam function - and you don't have to accept if they invite you
