February Game Informer Thread XV

Post » Wed Jun 02, 2010 6:24 am

I wonder how much information 14 page really is. I mean heck the Mag Article itself is going to keep us entertained until E3 in the Middle of the year.

Well we have been told that we are going to see at least 20 screen shots. So thats always good.

Who is this Andrew Reiner?! Why is he as clueless as me and you when it comes to Game Informer magazines?!

Lol I've tried a few places too - no dice. Just hoping the hub is good and the mags that get the deal in our countries aren't too far behind

Buuut to save this thing and get it back to topic. I wonder just how much 20 sccenshots can fill, I mean I'd much rather have 13 pages pure information and 1-2 screenshots honestly ^^

Alright then, I just couldn't stand that post... :(

Back to the topic, I am with you. Though some part of me wants to read a lot and get to know as much as possible, another part wants it to have as little information and just a lot of screenshots so I won't be spoiled a lot. :P

@Sean33: Okay dude, I forgive you. But next time, just do a little research to confirm things that you hear. I would be thankful.

Yea, but aslong as they dont reveal anything we'll actually be playing *cough*likeobliviondid*cough* I think it's all good. Gameplay mechanics and such won't spoil anything for you imo... If this article is half as informative as I hope it is, my mind will be blown, either from nerdgasm or from rage ^^

Closed for mop up of off topic discussion. Please stay tuned.

OK, here's the deal. No discussion of using Bethesda's pm system to send links to scans to one another and remember that pm's can be and are often reported. It's no more allowed via pm here than on the public forum so just don't do it.
Also, this topic is not about the weather where you are or how much snow you have or don't have and it's surely not about who has parasites in their country or who does not.

Should you want to remain here for sharing with one another what when you get the mag or to paraphrase what is in the article once someone gets it please stay tuned and don't post such off topic stuff or discuss the pm issues because otherwise you will end up with a warning and several days of suspended posting ability. We will be keeping this thread open so that only leaves warning those not complying with the rules of our forum who post in this thread.

Now, Please continue on topic and without discussion of scans or sneaky (not) requests for them via the pm system and please refrain from discussion intestinal parasites in this topic...ruins my breakfast.

We shall let summer eat his breakfast.

I can't sleep when I think about the new GI. Last night I only slept for about 4 hours... thank you Skyrim, thank you.
Oh and has anyone still received their copy? No, probably no...

From random guy on random forum

"I was just at Gamestop and the guy said he already had a copy (the [censored]). He said its a great article, but if they want to incorporate everything they listed in the article, it was probably going to be pushed."

So, what do we do now? Kidnap gamestop personel? ;)

Well, Gamestop guys aren't always the sharpest guys. He probably has no idea the game has been in development for 3+ years with a 100 man team.

I'm going to call up the Gamestops around here. Will post when I get done.

I think people will start receiving GI issues tomorrow. Unless GI shipped them out BEFORE 8AM CST on Thursday, then no one will be getting copies today

I thought Skyrim was nearing completion? Or so I heard. I mean, the way things look like, is that Bethesda wanted to be quite far into development to make sure we get the most information possible firsthand, and that everything shown is going to make it into the game or already been implemented (probably). I mean, they wouldn't have put a date already if they knew they'd most probably push the game, even more that they want this to be their shortest waiting period for a game, if they push it it's not going to be true anymore.

The thing is to get something next day via usps it has to be shipped BEFORE 8am local time. So even if someone lived in Minneapolis, they wouldn't receive until Saturday.

(Kidnap him)

If you wan't information on technology or games don't ask anyone who works in Gamestop. My sister who has never played a game in her life works in Gamestop.

I hope that this is true. Hopefully someone on the forums will get their copy soon so we can get some information. I'd say tomorrow at the latest until we have something.

Hah, yesterday I went to bed at 2:30am to wake up at 6am :P It will be hard for me to spend this weekend without news, I'll be going to the beach, and there is no internet on my house over there. I will have to lurk this forums with my sister's iPhone.

Hahah, did you just edit out that incite? Sweet, but I dont think anyone would take it serious. Anyhow I cant kidnap anyone anyhow, I'm on the wrong side of the atlantic sea.
Ontopic, it's getting more and more clear to me that Bethesda is really ambitious with this title! Now I just need some info, I trust y'all to give me some :()

They should go to work naked.

If not leather thongs and face-paint works, too.
