It was kinda confirmed by Andrew Reiner I think.
Nannersaur (a member here) tweeted him saying that he was now absolutely sure that the next cover was going to be TES, and Reiner replied with this"Haha!"
So yeeah, I think it is. And it would be the perfect marketing scheme, annoucement at VGAs broadcasted to all USA raising hype and attention and then GI to the ones who weren't able to catch up with it raising even more attention towards TESV and providing some in-game details

I must say I was shocked that Bethesda announced it at the VGAs. It isn't like them to announce BGS games at conferences. They reveal them there usually, but not announce.

As am I, especially 20 minutes into it. I saw the snowy mountains and men in robes and thought "what the hell is this?" Then I saw Todd Howard...

Well let's hope it's the February issue so I can go buy it at Best Buy in a month!

Seems almost certain that this will be the case; personally I'm hoping for a bit of news/screenshots before that issue hits shelves and/or mailboxes. I don't have GI subscription, not that I expect it will be too hard to find a copy somewhere (on or offline...) but either way, there are 3-4 weeks until that issue is out, so it'd be nice to have something tangible to tide us over for the bigger reveal.

I looked around and didn't see any. It's just like a 1 minute speech. He essentially said he can finally show what they've been working on for the past two years.

I'd better remember to get it. I used to subscribe to Game Informer and although I don't anymore, it's still my favorite gaming magazine. And TES V is my most anticipated game. I think I'm actually gonna pre-order it.

Back when some folks were waiting for New Vegas info after it's announcement, a certain magazine released the first-look. Together there were lots of gameplay details and about 4-8 in-game screenshots. So yeah, I think it's likely that it will have screenshots, coming from Bethesda.

I am in the same situation as you, GI doesn't sell here so I'll have to lurk the internet a lot if I want to find it...

I know it will have screen shots. I was wondering GI will have the first screen shots we see, or if there will be some posted to the Elder Scrolls website before it.
