I have been working on a mod for a while that has Azura ask you to lead a rebellion against the empire by freeing some powerful daedra to help you and the ashlanders win. If you win the battle all the imperial guards become ashlanders. You are then instructed to go and claim the throne from Helseth. Finally since you are the nerevarine, you have kicked the empire from morrowind, and beaten Hircine, Azura instructs you on how to become a daedra. If you succeed then you get powers, a realm, a race and daedra created by you, and all that stuff. Now we get to the point where I really need opinions. About halfway through making this mod I had an idea. My idea was to add a new layer to the lore. What it is, is that in the beginning there was only endless power. Somehow (how will be revealed eventually) a being formed itself from the power. This being known only as The Creator. The Creator made everything in the universe by using the power and the aedra and daedra were his highest servants. He ruled for many eons and all was good. There was, however, another being that came directly from the power. He is called Chaos. He is the opposite of the Creator and worked against everything he did. Eventually he gained enough support to challenge The Creator. The Creator and Chaos were equally powerful so them fighting each other directly did nothing, so their followers fought each other. The following battle laid waste to the universe and it would have been completely destroyed if The Creator had not sacrificed his consciousness to imprison Chaos. When he did The Creator was shattered and his essence shot throughout the universe and revitalized it. Since the mortals needed someone to lead them the Aedra and Daedra took over. After many eons most of the Daedra and Aedra turned against the instructions the Creator had left for them. A few however still remained loyal, chief of which being Azura. Now the prison of Chaos is weakening and fate has churned the player out to stop Chaos from breaking free. Obviously there is a lot I have left out, but I don't want to give to much away. Now I need to know, does this sound like a good premise? Currently I am thinking about releasing the rebellion part of it with only hints of what is going on that can be found throughout it so that players who don't want to get involved in the rest don't have to. After that I will make the rest of it. Thanks for making it all the way through and please give me your opinions!
