I feel that Skyrim isn't very rewarding

I don't play video games much because I find real life much more rewarding. I have always liked the Elder Scrolls Series (esp Morrowind) so I decided to get into this one. But I find after playing for 60+ hours is that after all the things I obtain and all the things I kill and all the levels and perks and shouts I gain I don't really feel like I accomplished anything. I get further into plots that I'm not very invested in and my reward is maybe title of Archmage or something. Maybe I'm just too old to be svcked into games anymore (I'm 23), but I don't really see a point in playing anymore. I don't mean to complain, please hear me out. What makes a video game addictive is the "ILLUSION OF PROGRESS," in other words the illusion that you are advancing and reaching goals and accomplishing things and obtaining rewards. I suppose I am just too aware that with all the levels gained and quests completed I feel like in the end I didn't accomplish anything. I remember in Final Fantasy games being svcked in and wanting to see what will happen in the plot, but now I don't care what happens.

ANYWAYS, What would you add to the game to make it seem more rewarding for your efforts and endless button tapping and joystick wielding? I for one would like power, the power to construct, create, and change the land of skyrim as a king would have or an 'archmage'. Remember Final Fantasy 9? Remember the playing card minigame? And the blitzball minigame from FFX? I think something like handplaced collectible items at least would add to the incentive to go explore. What are your thoughts?
