i feel the demo is closing in : Crysis

It's hard to believe they will just magically give the PC demo a go without any advertising about it for a week or 2.

Seeing how Crytek was quiet today, I assume they are working hard to finishing the demo this week before releasing a date

its wednesday here in Australia and still no demo.. but makes you think that.
You know how crytek said they develop for all 3 platforms at the same time? well that would mean they did the 360 demo aswell as ps3, pc. Right?
So if that IS the case whats taking the PC demo so long? correct me if i am wrong (which i'm sure i am wrong) but hmmm idk lol

Well, if you've played the leak, you would know that the PC game is exactly what you saw in the 360 demo. DX9 is just slightly better lighting. Thats it.

They are going to have to come straight sometime this month to give them enough time to fix whatever bugs, glitches, or whatever there maybe for the final release.

The main reason I said it could be on 22nd is because Bulletstorm is releasing on that day.If u remember they released the X360 demo on the same day Bulletstorm demo got released.

So Crytek releasing Crysis(published by EA) wants to compete with Bulletstorm (published by EA) by releasing the demo on the same day of Bulletstorm's release?

I see no reason why Crytek can't pull that off, the game deves can push and release things to rival with others.

The demo will most likely not come out Wednesday, if it did, they would have told us. Its not normal to suddenly release a demo unannounced. My guess is the 18th, 19th or 22nd.

I don't think EA will like it. Well, the demo should be out around the first week of March. This gives PC gamers to taste the multiplayer for 2 weeks and server maintenance after that till launch date.

I really doubt its going to be 16th.My strong guess is 22nd Feb,cause Bulletstorm is relasing that day.If u remember the X360 demo got released on the same day Bulletstorm demo got release.

Lol what do u mean the few days, there servers now are still the worst ive ever seen. I hope Crysis 2 doesnt have bad servers.

well i only had problems for the first 3 days after that everything was fine for me never even got a stutter.

they cant give us a date since they are working on it=no clue when its done
they never planned a pc demo so prob does take some time to set it all up
id love it soon also so i has something other to play then gross rift beta

We have been loyal to you Crytek.When the leak hapnd most of the guys didnt download it.We knew the demo is going to come out.But it pisses the hell out of me when those sleazy pirates are playing it while your loyal fans are still waiting for the demo.I know the demo might not be ready yet,but some info on it would calm things around here.Please, we have been seeing at the "COMING SOON" logo for the past half a month.We are begging here Crytek,we are down to our knees.

i'm not sure the demo will come soon. it wouldn't make sense to release it over a month early, then take it down again. i think they will release it closer to game release so there's a transition.

Almost always, any developer promising something in similar circumstances, I've been disappointed. I wait for weeks, months or in some cases, years and nothing. It's just sad. And this is precisely why I feel very uncomfortable with this demo announcement. It just seems like ****. In 11 days, it will have been a month since the announcement. 11 days is not that far away. So, I'm already readying my PM.
