Which is rather ironic when you think about it considering that the Fallout franchise has things far worse than that word.

ie. cannibalism, mass murder, prostitution, nuclear armageddon. let's not forget boxcars. when I first stumbled upon him, I had the volume a little loud, and I'll just say my grandmother may never be the same again.

It's not the name, it's the video.
Try typing what they say in the video here on the forums: [censored].
It becomes censored.
A link to a video with profane language isn't allowed IIRC. (Sorry to be a party pooper)

Yeah, I know, but I added a "warning" to the video. I find it quite funny.

And yes, I don't get why this forum has an age limit of like 13 years, while these games are for 18+ and are very graphical, lots of guts, blood, drugs, six, swearing and things children are generally not supposed to be exposed to x) And we gotta adjust our language to that rule.

1: Fallout 2 (Introduced me to the series, and still my favorite game)
2: Fallout 1 (Not far behind Fallout 2)
3: NV and Fallout 3 (I just can't decide. I really like them both, but for different reasons)
4: Tactics (being last in this list doesn't mean I don't love it)

I would rather sit for days and listen to the guy who did the voice-overs for the Bosmer in Morrowind recite Vogon poetry than mention "that" game in the same company as the others.

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/724862-forum-rules-and-general-information/:

The ESRB rating of all the forums here is 13+, irrespective of the rating of the individual games. It is expected that the content and tone of your posts conforms to this rating.

Anyway the games I play is the following:
- Fallout 1 - It started all and got one of the best ending of any video game I play so far.
- Fallout 2 - Add alot more to what the game have and I think it follow up nicely to Fallout 1.
- Fallout New Vegas - I see this as a true squeal to Fallout 1 and 2 as it follow the story and factions quite nicely.
- Fallout 3 - Meh but I like the mod the game offers.

Yes, I know. It's still weird that a forum that handles discussions about games for advlts is set to allow young teens who, legally, shouldn't play these games but they do since their mothers buy it for them if they ask, or it's easy to fake age on Steam. But whatever, I played violent games like this when I was 13, and I sat in my elder brother's lap watching him play violent games when I was even younger, and it hasn't damaged me... yet :) Someday I will probably snap and the papers the following day will say something like "Worst killing spree in 150 years - it's like something taken out of a violent video game". Harhahar.

Not every game section in the forums is rated M+, some are rated T (I think.) so they reduced the age limit.

Fo3 And NV are "Softier" compare to the content of Fallout 1 and 2

The Same goes for Oblivion and Morrowind compared to Arena and Dagerfall (specialy Dagerfall)

Yeah I think he meant softer. What he means is that fallout 1 and new vegas didn't quite have that dirty, gritty, dark, feeling combined with dark sadistic humor that fallout 1, and fallout 2 had. Which is very true, but I feel that fallout 3 had more of that then new vegas does, but I still love them both.

1) Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.
Great storyline, nice mechanics. Love the main characters and I can play as Vault Dweller! :goodjob:

2) Fallout 1
It started it. My second favourite RPG of all time (Daggerfall is first).

3) Fallout 2
Bigger world, more quests, love the main quest. And it's filled with good laughs. :)

4) Fallout New Vegas
Brings many elements I missed in Fallout 3. I love the main quest and the mechanics as well.

I gotta buy and try that game sometime, it's for Playstation 2 right? I can't judge and say that it's an abomination when I haven't even played it. I know two people IRL who has played and enjoyed it.

1. Fallout: New Vegas
2. Fallout 3

I voted in the polls "Fallout 3" for both second and third, since there was no "I haven't played more than ____ games" option. I've never gotten to play the older ones, only the most recent two. And I'm not the type to favor the old games-I've, again, never played them. It's just that Fallout: New Vegas was able to keep the good of Fallout 3, mostly, and fix the bad or even add in better things. The storyline is ridiculously better, and exploration has never been a priority above the story for me-so the slight lacking of exploration hasn't bothered me in the slightest. I don't notice any problems, at all, really. Thus, while I loved Fallout 3, I love Fallout: New Vegas more.
