So, which race epitomizes the masculine protector and hero figure, and depicts the woman as a fiendish, manipulating, poisoner [censored]?

The real-life human race, pretty much.

I actually have a lot of trouble finding female Bosmers in both Oblivion and Morrowind... But there's a lot of species where the female grows to be bigger and stronger than the male.

As for http://www.sinfest.net/archive_page.php?comicID=2651, he's the Numidium.

I don't remember which book it was where it was said that Bosmer women are very pleasant to the senses of males of all races while male Bosmer are just... male Bosmer. :D

It seems the services of Bosmer girls are quite requisited.

Is "ferior" even a word?

Because Bosmer represent the idea that Women Are Always Beautiful and Men Are Always Short Ugly Trollish Creatures.

S'true.

In Morrowind, in Oblivion though Bosmer as a whole are pretty stupid looking...

According to Bethesda, anyway. The facegen is a shining path to racial self-worth.

The Bosmer were totally naff in Morrowind in terms of facial looks. So they may 'mutate' themselves but that would only be the native ones not the one's who live in foreign countries. The MW Bosmer looked like brown bushes on a neck. :nope:

You speak as if the latter is really a bad thing.

And I suppose the "transactions" are.......

Hmm, I know that in black widow spiders, the females can be much larger than the males... and they also try to eat the males after mating :D Maybe the bosmer men have to be small so they can get away before their lady gets hungry?

I can't think of any occurrence where primates, or any other mammal, where the females are always significantly larger than the males.

Real-world political arguments have no place in this thread or any other. A number of posts have gone away in consequence of that.

I can think of some old comic strips... Like those of http://www.dubout.fr/fr/dessins/couples/index.php. The women there are everything but cute, though; not like the MW bosmerettes.

Typical humans are more in reverse... women are usually smaller than men in height, but wider in girth.

Let see.

Fargoth.
Thariel.
The Adoring Fan.
Glarthir.
Thurindil.
Maglir.

How many of the stupid, crazy, or simply annoying Bosmer are male? How many are female?

If anything makes male Bosmer inferior to Bosmerettes, it's not their size or comeliness difference; it's their minds.

i believe the female wood elves are suppose to look 'nymph' like, while the males are to look more 'sayter'-ish. maybe it's want each finds more attractive, hence a bit of natural selection in their looks.

hell, some bosmer males have horns.

I wonder why that sort of thing was left out in Oblivion. Bosmer didn't have the wierd eyes or the horns in Oblivion like they had in Morrowind.
