Ok beside the massive Lag and Freeze Problems this Game has I wonder why the F**k are there no Female Characters? This is not Character Customization this is plain [censored]. What does this tell us about the Arc? Lots of questions come to mind.

1.: Every Citzen on the Arc is Gay, or at least the most of them.
2.: They must have some Cloning Machines or some Breedchambers.
3.: Becuase of the Fact that there are no new Genetic Codes in the Pool other Problems Occur, incist etc.
4.: Something must have happened to the female population, if there ever was one.
5.: Did the Females even ever get to the Arc? Where they killed? Slavery? Or maybe slaughtered for food? Cannibalism anyone? oO

What I am trying to say is: GIVE US FEMALE CHARACTERS!!!

This has been known long before the game was released and it`s not going to happen.

We could well see a future expansion adding females to the game, but there is a 50% chance of that happening.

They have good reason not to introduce female characters, like the poster above me linked to. However I do think it would be cool to be able to create and play with female characters as well.

By the way, during the game there is reference towards having female population in the Ark: I think there was something in the audio log where a female founder speaks. They just dont show up in the cutscenes or during battle. That isn't that strange actually.

Dude I honestly think you are thinking too hard. They just couldn't put female characters in the game. This doesn't mean that there are absolutely no women on the Ark. If Brink 2 is comes out there will most likely be chicks.

There are females on ARC. why else do they have a XXX-bar in container city? It's definatly no GAYBAR as theres obviusly female posters on it.


Females in the game were intended.
They were dropped out due to beeing to time-consuming and hard to fit in. They had difficulties getting females to scale with males without unbalancing the genders.

Females are in terms generally smaller than males, and making them the exact same size in this game with the Over-exeggeration features of the game, made them look quite... wierd...

They had female models, and eventually they somewhat got it to fit in, but by this time they decided to drop this in order to hurry up the game and spend the resources on other stuff in the game.


They have Not excluded females, and are not denying the possibility for female characters in a future DLC. but ATM they are not prioritising it, so its up to Bethesta/Splash damage to decide if and when.

Will we see females in the future? Maybe.

I do hope so, and itll definatly be interesting.
