Female characters show up!

Post » Thu Apr 15, 2010 6:41 pm

I'm new to this forum, so first of all I'd like to say hello to everyone. :)
I'd like you to share your female characters with others. Screens, classes, background (if you have any), RP thing...well everything. ;)
My character doesn't have a background so pure mechanics from me:
Name: Amelia
Race: Bosmer
Class: Adventurer (combat) - athletics, blade, block, light armor, security, speechcraft, mercantile
I just started this character, so she's low-level for now. I wanted to stay away from MQ and all the "big quests" and focus on minor quests, dungeon crawling etc. But I do some RP though (I'm an RPG player so I guess it's some kind of obsession to RP even in PC games).
Amelia is a collector of Ayleid/Daedric/any unique artifacts. Unlike Umbacano she prefers hunting treasures on her onw rather than sitting on her ass and hire someone to do that.
When I play I don't use fast travel, I don't have tons of equipment in my "backpack" and I'm trying to eat/drink/sleep.
Not much but as I've sad. It's a new char.. ;)
Well...here's my babe that I was working at like one hour. Hope you'll enjoy:

I've only ever made one female character, and even she didn't stick for long. Here goes;

Name: Sierra
Race: Breton
Class: Mage

She doesn't really have much of a story. She mostly sticks to quests, and is in the Mages Guild. A member which has access to the Arcane University she spends most of her time reading about magic, and history. When she's not doing that, she studies some of the nearby Ayleid Ruins, but she rarely goes on such excursions, and when she does, she rests for weeks. Other than that, she visits the Guild Halls every now and then, simply to meet her old friends.

Aliera

Breton

Atronach

Stealth

Level 9

Majors: Blade 25, Block 25, Destruction 25, Restoration 35, Acrobatics 30, Marksman 81, Mercantile 44

Aliera was a promising young member of the mage guild and a devoted servant of the Nine. She visited daedric shrines in an effort to convert their worshippers. One of Azura's disciples angered her and she loosed a damage over time spell that fatally injured him. This happened at dawn. The man prayed to Azura, who appeared and cursed Aliera so that she no longer had the power to cast spells. In order to regain this power she must serve the daedra and learn their ways.

Ermengarde

Nord

Nomad (Custom combat class)

Sign - Warrior

Majors: Armorer, athletics, blade, block, light armor, marksman, sneak

Level 8

Based on the Barbarian class but specialized in Strength and Endurance rather than Speed.

Recently finished the Knights of the Nine and has put the Crusader's Armor back in the Priory of the Nine for future reference. Has recently joined both the Fighters' Guild and Mages' Guild and so far is still a Pit Dog at the arena; she wanted to get access to the enchanting equipment so decided to do the mage thing. She'll still prefer to crack skulls more directly than waving a staff. Prefers small quests and dungeon exploring; the Knights quest has pretty much burned her out as far as Big Glorious Historic Adventures is concerned. At the moment, Jauffre can bite her garters as far as she's concerned.

I have had like a hundred female characters, so can't relly post em all. One of the funnest was my Courtesan

Athletics
Acrobatics
Alchemy
Illusion
Mercantile
Restoration
Speechcraft

She went straight from the sewers to the IC and didn't leave until she had Alchemy and Illusion both at 50. She never put a point in strength, or endurance, never meleed and just used Illusion and poison and totally kicked ass. She was, of course, smoking hot too.....

So Petros, one question, why no bow? Okay, two questions, is it just me or does your girl need to shave? She looks good, just a little five o'clock shadowish....

It's a shadow thing, I guess.

And why no bow? Well...I think I wanted to create a tough female adventurer/rogue with a lil' bit of Anna Valerius (from Van Helsing) style. She's quick (athletics), she can bit the cra* out of you (blade), she can defend herself (block) and she's charming (speechcraft, mercantile). Maybe she's not a beauty of my life (that I made long time ago) but IMO she's good looking and you know...that clothes/armor suits her well. :P Besides I'm tired of using bow and all that stealth thing. I've always played stealth characters, so I wanted to make something different.

I rolled a female character a couple years ago, http://i54.tinypic.com/e8u7nn.jpg. She was too young for Oblivion, and refused to kill anything. She heard Emperor Uriel foretell, "There will be blood and death before the end," and she was like, "eek!" ...and defied the prophesy. She trained heavy armor, block, & illusion, and cleared the entire main quest on max difficulty without hurting anybody.

Linara

Female

Nord

About twenty, give or take a year

Level 8

Mage/Warrior

Linara is the first female character I made who used magic, also my only character right now. She is on her Cities of Cyrodill tour, about half way through, earning all of her recommendations from the Mage's guilds in each city. She doesn't fast travel, and she has a brother named Gavin. She collects books, visits wayshrines, slash's her way through the sticky situations that pop up every time she travels, and hates caves and forts. Also, she's a Knight-Errant of the Order of the White Stallion, and Mazoga is one of her only friends.

She's always gotten short shrift compared to some of my other female characters, and did again today when she was one of the ones I sort of grudgingly chose not to post on the Hot or Not thread, so here's http://i49.tinypic.com/xcrfo7.jpg.....

She was actually my first female character. She was the one (inspired in large part by Acadian and Buffy) that opened me up to roleplaying, or at least roleplaying in the way I look at it now. Before her, I'd always played more or less myself in games (well-- obviously a buffer, more handsome and more terrifying version of myself), but with her, I learned how to create a character wholly separate from myself and just follow along while she did wanted to do, which required figuring out who she was and what she'd want to do.

Probably not surprisingly, she sort of wandered to and fro, trying on this and that as I tried to get a handle on this whole idea of playing an entirely separate person with her own personality. But that actually worked out fine (and that's a part of this whole thing-- if you just let the character have its own way, it always works out fine-- whoever they turn out to be is who they turn out to be). It just became a part of her personality that she really http://img20.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=92101_claudiasmilinginbravil_122_578lo.jpg, and is almost always willing to do what she can to help them out, but she also has a sort of short attention span and is http://i49.tinypic.com/2n6x9mu.jpg. Luckily, she has an extremely slow build. At this point, she really only has two majors that she uses at all, though she has a couple of others that she could choose to use if she wanted to. The upshot of that is that over 120 hours into the game, she's only level 10. She's done most of the obvious side quests, all of the MG recommendations, has gone into Shivering Isles and wandered around a bit, decided she didn't really like it and left again, wandered around some more. Then, one day, sort of at loose ends, she happened on a really nice set of http://i50.tinypic.com/nbpzx3.jpg and just from that alone, decided to try her hand at the Thieves Guild. She donned the new outfit, switched her war axe for a heavily enchanted dagger and set about a life of.... well.... crime. Sort of. She wasn't particularly comfortable with the thieving part of it, so she just limited herself to stealing from jerks (like that despicable Alval Uvani), so she was okay with it all in all. And she was extremely http://i50.tinypic.com/28wie4x.jpg.

She was especially thrilled with the happy ending of the Thieves Guild story, but was immediately dismayed to discover that somehow people knew what she'd been doing and they were suspicious of her, or even downright mean to her. Crushed, she decided she had to do something to win back their love and trust. And it was while she was wandering disconsolately over the land, trying to find a way to redeem herself, that she heard about an attack on a chapel, and found herself on the path to recover the http://img230.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=92100_claudiainrelics_122_127lo.jpg and redeem not only herself, but the Knights of the Nine.

At the moment, she's saved outside the door of the Priory of the Nine, ready to form up the knights and go to battle.

Well, don't short-change yourself! It kind of depends on the rules you set for yourself. I allowed my character invisibility spells, though not chameleon, which I should have known would tempt me to cheese through tight spots. I've been thinking of retrying on hardcoe (death = restart) with sneak only.

As for beating stuff up, you could always save your game, go postal, and reload :D

I have a ton of female characters (well, all of them really). My second, who spurred me to writing fiction again after several years hiatus, was Teresa of the Faint Smile (yes, I got the name from the anime Claymore. I hate coming up with names...) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion337.jpg is a Bosmer orphan from the Imperial City. Raised by the beggar http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion357.jpg, she grew up a street urchin. When she was eight she was caught stealing a sweetroll, and the legionary who caught her knocked out one of her back teeth to teach her a lesson. She never forgot it: the Imperial Legion was the worst enemy a street person like herself could ever have. Also when she was eight, she met http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion358.jpg who was just a year older than her. They became close friends when a mad Dunmer named Valen Dreth was trying to kill Teresa because he thought she had cursed him to lose in the Arena. Methredhel helped Teresa to frame him and send him to prison. It was Methredhel who taught Teresa how to use a bow, as her father was a mercenary archer.

Ten years later found Teresa squatting in a shack in the shanty town on the Waterfront, making a living by brewing potions for members of the Thieves Guild. It was trade she became fascinated with after nearly fatally poisoning herself with her Argonian roomate's nightshade tea! While looking for cast-off food in the alley behind the Tiber Septim hotel, she witnessed the murder of a Blade, who had learned what the Mythic Dawn were up to. A legionary heard the ruckus and came into the alley, only to see her standing over the agent's corpse. She was quickly taken to prison, where she met the Emperor during his desperate attempt to escape the assassins after him. He taught her that she could be much more than she was. That she mattered, and could respect herself. That she did have a future. He changed her life, and when Teresa saw him die, something inside of her snapped, and drove her to do something she never had before. Fight.

Afterward she delivered the Amulet of Kings of Jauffre at Weynon, who thanked her and sent her on her way. Even though he offered her a substantial reward for her service to the Empire, Teresa turned him down. Everything she had done, she had done for Uriel Septim. In turn he had given her something far more precious than gold or titles. Returning to the Imperial City, she found that she could not longer resume her life as a street rat. The city walls closed in on her, suffocating her like a tomb. It was only by returning to the wilderness that she had first set foot into upon escaping the Imperial Prison that she truly felt at home. She realized that was where she belonged.

That wilderness itself had given her another gift, a spirit guide. Teresa came to see that Raven - her guide - had been with her all her life. She had only never slowed down to take notice before. Now that she did notice, she saw how truly beautiful and divine Nirn really was, and how she was inextricably bound to it through the divinity that existed within her. She would later meet Morcant, a Witch who would tell her about the spirits of the Aedra who sacrificed their all to create Mundus, and in so doing became the world itself, and everyone in it. Including Teresa.

With Raven as her companion, Teresa has gone on to explore Cyrodiil, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion470.jpg. She has been hired by a wealthy, creepy Altmer named Umbacano to retrieve a set of Ayleid artifacts for him. She hopes to use the money to buy a home in the country for Simplicia, which had always been the old woman's dream. She is also strangely drawn to the Ayleid sites. Sometimes seeing them as they once were at their height, rather than their present ruin. She does not know what strange destiny calls her to them, but it is something she cannot deny....

Hmm. I would think endurance would rank important for a courtesan (though behind personality and agility)

the last one died from jumping off of a bridge and missing the deeper water by inches. she was a Wood Elf.
I guess that explains it.

This is my first character in Oblivion, Camarilla. She's based on one of my oldest PRG characters I've had for 15 odd years. She's a farmgirl gone adventurer due to wanderlust and an affinity for kicking ass. She'll never be a sophisticated polished person as you can take the girl off the farm, but you can't take the farm out of the girl. She still wears her original ragged leather armor and some good strong country clothes. The Oblivion version is slightly different in that Magic is involved. My RPG character is not too bright, but has a way with people, and a way with sticking a boot in your ass. She's also a bit of a 'naturist' and a [censored] =)

Name: Camarilla
Class: Farmgirl (Custom)
Age: 19
Level: 1
Birthsign: The Lady (riiight, lady...)
Current Majors: http://tinypic.com/m/dg00uw/4

I'm only about 6 days in, but thoroughly enjoying reliving her early days of adventuring! This time in Oblivion =)

Name:Teskinah
Race:Imperial
Class:Adventurer, I forget the Majors though :P
Birthsign:The Steed. For when she gets jumped by 10 hostiles, she can get out without much of a scratch.
Well, she isn't a very exciting adventuring heroine, Just an average gal, who lived in the IC most of her life, who is just now wanting to get out and explore beyond Weye.
She has a natural leadership talent in her veins, Able to persuade adventurers to journey with her.
No pictures yet.

Name: Kiva Lionheart.
Race: Breton.
Class: Arcane Mistress. (Mage, majors all magic and blade).
Guild: Mage's Guild.
Age: 24.
Favourite Weapon: Dagger.
Favourite Clothing: Robes mostly, with a cloak added if it's raining.
Backstory: Kiva is an ex-priestess. She used to be part of an order of priestess' called the blossom.
However, she was too young to be a priestess. She wanted excitement, adventure...and love.
The turning point came when she was heading back to the monastary one night and she heard a shout come from a house nearby.
Rushing in, she found a Dark Brotherhood member standing beside the corpse of a wealthy business man who had been gouging the area for days.
'Wha-' She started.
'Shh.' He interrupted, clamping a hand over her mouth.
'You know this man I presume? Then you must know why he is dead. Someone didn't like how he treated the people around here, so they hired me. I stopped his schemes. Is that so wrong?'
She couldn't answer. She belonged to an order of pacifists after all. They never really seemed to make a difference. Was this really the only way though?
'Now, I must be going.' He said, heading towards the door.
'Wait!' She called.
The assassin paused.
'Can you at least tell me your name?'
'Recruit 505, Kain Nightwatch.'
And so he left, escaping back into the night.

After this experience, she decided that perhaps life as a priestess was not for her. Perhaps she could join the mages guild in Cyrodil? She had heard the Arcane University was there.
Maybe she could find some answers on this Kain person too. He...intrigued her.

Edit: Is http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/3084/screenshot1eh.png better?

Return to IV - Oblivion
