Female Clothes/Armor

Post » Thu Jul 07, 2011 2:21 pm

But that's not really TES' style. They try to portray each gender equally and not put in skimpy armor for females just to appease teenaged boys. If you want stuff like that, play FO3 or FO:NV, it's in those games and fits them better.

AlienSlof created male skimpy clothing for TES. Just saying ;)

I'm not a teenager anymore. Although, I play one in-game. I'm more of a dirty old man. BTW thanks for the advise on the other games. I never thought of just doing that.

Just play with mods. You'll have plenty of armors to your liking.

What about it? It's an arena. Have you seen any gladiator movies?

You are aware I wasn't replying to you, correct?

And re-read my posts, as I am not for the extreme changes in appearances of armors just because of the gender.

I'd like to, but I'm on the 360. I was being a little brash, in that last post...sorry. When it comes down to it. It's not going to matter anyway. All my femchars don't ware armor anyway. Just pants, shoes and gloves. She loves the breeze on the bust.

I'd made the armours look the same on each character, only custom-made/reforged gear would fit right (and offer higher protection).

If you looted a plate cuirass from an Altmer's body for your female bosmer, you wouldn't need to spend on boots. ;)

Hi I've played Morrowind and Oblivion and enjoyed the many armors and clothes it had to offer but when i play the female characters the clothes don't seem so good i assume they expected males to more likely be played then the female gender witch is more likely right but I enjoy using the Female gender as much or even more then the male gender and was hopeing if anyone knew if the Female will get sixy armor and clothes not like super revealing clothes i mean cool clothes like the one golden armor from shivering island. Most the armor look like it was just tweaked a bit for the women.
What i want is armor where it reveals the top part of there bust show there belly button and some shoulder skin im not trying to be a perv >.> maybe but it would be nice to have armor or clothes that are much different then the male armor.

No they won't. Google "mods".

OP:

1) You're not going to get much support here, there's even a good number of folks who don't even want armor to reveal a female shape, let alone be "sixy"

2) Judging by the screenshots, armor in Skyrim will be similar to in Oblivion and Morrowind - relatively "realistic" and covering, but shaped to show the wearer is female.

Clothing: Tastefully sixy, maybe somewhat revealing to elegant
Armour: Protective and functional above all else.

Stereotype much?

Because the history of Western Fantasy doesn't have any revealing arm..... oh, wait. Boris Vallejo. Frank Frazetta. Julie Bell. Luis Royo. Larry Elmore. Keith Parkinson. Christos Achilleos. Rowena Morrill. And dozens more. Nope, no one in the West ever protrayed revealing armor in Fantasy artwork.

(Oh, and I think you mean "Anime", with an 'e'.)

I will jump into a volcano alongside every copy of TES V I can find if chainmail bikini makes its way into Skyrim. There's enough of that nonsense already with Oblivion.

LOL what? I hear this for like every game ever made. How come I never get the good copies of games that have all these chain mail bikinis in them that people complain about? /sadface

I'm with you Op. I'm a perv from waaay back and I say that LOUD AND PROUD. I use femchars all the time. I"d love the eyecandy. As far as people being offended. I'd like to say...Grow up, for crying out loud...It's a GAME. You can't do or say anything these days, without some crying and pointing fingers. Get over it and learn not to have such a thin skin. I love grit, gore, six and sick humor. I play 'M' rated games for a reason. They SHOULD make games that reflect that, push them to their limits and not worry about all this 'That's offensive' crap.

Agreed. When did fantasy armor become taboo in fantasy games? People are so prudish these days. Blood guts and gore? It's all good. A little side-boob? ZOMG someone call the Ethics Police!!

Nah, that's a little too anime and not fitting the trope well enough. What we need is some good ole' http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs12/i/2006/305/e/a/Red_Sonja_Fights_by_edbenes.jpg!! :hubbahubba:

Hehe, obviously that's not what we really want, and in the end I could care less since there will be plenty of mods with tasteful yet fantasy styled armors. Vanilla armor is always so low poly and has such small textures I never use it anyway. The mod'ed stuff always ends up being way better.

I'd like the armor to be more feminine, not necessarily sixy. But it would be nice to have some clothes that show some skin...

Yeah, I'm one of those weirdos, but I don't care. I'm just glad there's good modders out there.

I LOVE IT! That pic takes me back to my comic book days. She was my earliest memory of a female barbarian. Thus my earlier post. Thanks for making an old man tear up...

I guess I'm pragmatic about the armor issue. I actually liked the leather armor worn by one of the NPC's in the trailer. Lightly feminine, but still effective. Shoot, as a mage/thief character, my PC will probably be wearing that armor.

This is one of the few things I'm relieved about. I was fearing Bethesda would go off the deep end making "girly" armor.

I really liked the http://pds.exblog.jp/pds/1/201101/24/10/b0178210_23455475.jpg in Oblivion for females. Something like that perhaps. I'm all for skimpy, but nothing to bad in the vanilla game.
