Female Clothes/Armor

Post » Thu Jul 07, 2011 6:00 pm

Hi I've played Morrowind and Oblivion and enjoyed the many armors and clothes it had to offer but when i play the female characters the clothes don't seem so good i assume they expected males to more likely be played then the female gender witch is more likely right but I enjoy using the Female gender as much or even more then the male gender and was hopeing if anyone knew if the Female will get sixy armor and clothes not like super revealing clothes i mean cool clothes like the one golden armor from shivering island. Most the armor look like it was just tweaked a bit for the women.
What i want is armor where it reveals the top part of there bust show there belly button and some shoulder skin im not trying to be a perv >.> maybe but it would be nice to have armor or clothes that are much different then the male armor.

No. We've already got confirmed kids and marriages. Lets not make it worse.

Maybe it burned out because of all those female armor mods you downloaded for Oblivion. I'd save up for a new PC if I were you.

I will jump into a volcano alongside every copy of TES V I can find if chainmail bikini makes its way into Skyrim. There's enough of that nonsense already with Oblivion.

Undoubtedly there will be a few an avalanche of mods to add this. Personally, I don't like it. Armor should cover most areas. That way it can actually protect the wearer. It just looks ridiculous to have http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ChainmailBikini Keep armor practical. Adventurers should like like adventurers, not strippers.

For the vanilla game, it doesn't really make sense for armor to be revealing. Maybe light armors could be MODERATELY revealing, but nothing to extensive and heavy armor, not at all, that just doesn't make sense. I mean... as was stated above, its ARMOR so if it leaves your chest bare for cleavage and your thighs and buttocks showing (maybe more extreme than you are asking) its not exactly believable as something that is going to stop arrows and swords now is it? Again, maybe a little less extreme than that would make sense for light armors, but not at all for heavy, and if the light armor was more revealing for women, I think it should be a little more "revealing" for men too, like Greek types of armors with bare legs and arms with an armored skirt were (not saying TES should have armor that looks Greek, but the same level of "revealingness" would be believable.

All of that being said though, the armor could be more form fitting, but not expose skin... the female model for the armor could actually look like it was designed to be worn by a female warrior, and in silhouette be sixy if not exposing skin... that would be good artistry I think.

Some sixy clothes don't seem totally out of the question in a full open world, etc... but it is a cold climate so maybe they really don't make sense for Skyrim.

And again... I assure you there will be no lack or limit on the PC if previous games are even a remote measuring stick...

So far from what we've seen of Skyrim, the male armor is much more revealing than their female counterparts.

The argument about armor revealing too much doesn't make sense when you look at the background of these forums....

That being said, I really don't care either way...

I'm with you Op. I'm a perv from waaay back and I say that LOUD AND PROUD. I use femchars all the time. I"d love the eyecandy. As far as people being offended. I'd like to say...Grow up, for crying out loud...It's a GAME. You can't do or say anything these days, without some crying and pointing fingers. Get over it and learn not to have such a thin skin. I love grit, gore, six and sick humor. I play 'M' rated games for a reason. They SHOULD make games that reflect that, push them to their limits and not worry about all this 'That's offensive' crap.

I don't want them to look like "ladies of the night", but I don't want them to look "androgynous" in armor. Something that curves and shapes to the body would be cool.

I think we should have a drinking game relating to advlt mods. 1 shot of rum for every Roberts or Exnem mod created. Poor bastard would have liver problems before the night is done :spotted owl:

But that's not really TES' style. They try to portray each gender equally and not put in skimpy armor for females just to appease teenaged boys. If you want stuff like that, play FO3 or FO:NV, it's in those games and fits them better.

You must have played a different Fallout 3 than I did... I do not recall this.

But to say it isn't TES style? Uh.... Look at the cover of Arena...

Avalanche? Too small, there's a helluva more than that, and it's [censored] annoying.

My opinion, keep armor looking somewhat practical, not stripperific. No bikinis.

Bad enough there's marriage.

What we know now...

From what we have been shown so far, it seems that the clothing for females seems to be more revealing, as it were, than the armor.

I'm not a teenager anymore. Although, I play one in-game. I'm more of a dirty old man. BTW thanks for the advise on the other games. I never thought of just doing that.

Fallout 3 has a lot of exposed armor for females that aren't exposing for males(metal armor comes to mind, and I can't remember anything else because I haven't played it in a while.)

O.K., besides that cover art, can you find any armor in game that was exposing for females, but not on males?
