When you make great looking stuff that people really, really want too see ingame asap, it tends to lend a bit more drama when the 'dingdingding' sound comes up it CTD's. It's both a good and bad thing.

I never suffered any crashes while using Helgya's shop, but I did suffer from missing walls and textures.
Not helping, am I? :(

Amend previous statement to say "I wish I knew where all those problems are coming from."

Seriously, it works like a charm on my end.

I only ever had one problem with the Hilgya mod, and that only with one robe texture. I think I just redownloaded the file and it was suddenly in there, though. That or it was patched, I forget. I never had any problems after that with the expansion on it, or anything. :P I love those clothes. Always take Julan out to get outfitted on my new files. Or my personal NPCs I've made. One is a Morrowind-ification of a vampire from an RP I've been working on, and he's quite dashing in some of the more gentlemanly attire. :D

Anyway, to not be completely offtopic, I am looking forward to this outfit. A girl can never have enough clothes.

Have you gotten the bugs ironed out? o.o

I'm almost anticipating this more than the servers for Aion going up later this afternoon. They'll probably crash as soon as they're up anyway because of everyone trying to log on. :P

Hey guys, I am utterly sorry I've not gotten this out yet... I have no idea how to script, and I've not been home for a long while. I will get this done, I swear.

If the problem is weapon sheathing scripts, I might be able to help if you want?

Yes please.

The problem is that the sheathed weapons/empty sheaths do equip and unequip just fine - they just keep adding copies of themselves to the inventory. I can't send you the mod as it is just now, but I'll be able to tomorrow night.

OK then. Do you want companion support? I'm fine with adding that as long as you don't mind some very unimaginative dialogue (or you can change the text yourself of course).

Companion support would be wonderful, yes. :)

One more question (sorry!) - for companions, the player will need to give them the stuff in dialogue, so - Any thoughts on what the topic should be called? Or I could just call it "Ranger Outfit" I guess... I'm terrible at thinking this stuff up. Scripting is WAY easier than coming up with creative text :embarrass:

Since the sai sheaths work on only female characters while the bowset works on both genders, having two topics would probably be the way to go. The outfit itself (meaning the boots, bracers, cuirass, and shorts) is ordinary armor and can be given through companion share so you won't need to worry about that. The topics could be called "Ranger Sais" and "Ranger Bow" or whatever it was that I actually called the items (Steel sais? Huntress bow? I've forgotten, it's been over two weeks since I've had my computer) but since I assume you'll want me to actually send you the mod as it is so far, minus scripting, so you can write in the scripts, you'll be able to see what it was that I called them when I do get it to you. Oh, and I was mistaken; it'll be Tuesday night, not tomorrow. My travel has been delayed.

If you wish, you can use the scripts from this http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7209 mod for the standard PC version.

Thanks, I'll give those a try :) Hopefully, adapting them to draw and sheathe two sais at once won't be too hard to do.

All right, I've got to throw in the towel. I can't for the life of me figure out what's causing the bow and sai sets to multiply every time you draw them, and I'm sick of this mod and I want it off my plate. All the textures and models are completely finished, and that was originally all I was going to do anyway - if someone else wants to pick this up and polish it, fix the scripts and stuff, and release it, be my guest. I just don't want to work on it anymore.

Well, thank you for what you've already done, Plangkye! :goodjob: A small question, if you don't mind... is anything placed in game, or is this literally just the models and textures?

Just checked it out in game, and there's a vendor right outside Gnisis, near the temple exit.

Really good job, Plangkye! And the scripts work fine. The most copies of the quiver I get are two to three, which isn't too much of a big annoyance. They do disappear if I equip them. I think. @_@

Ah yes, the vendor. One request for anyone who does decide to finish this - I'd like her name and appearance to stay the way they are, since she's one of my D&D characters. Anything else at all though, like if you think the stats of the armor ought to be different or something, or if you want to change the body slotting or move Gyla to somewhere else, I'm fine with. :)

http://rapidshare.com/files/286910187/femalerangerarmor_scripts.zip, if anyone wants it. Companions with companion share are supported but not MW-only companions this time. I just threw this together quickly so it's not polished or anything, but I doubt there are major bugs since it's just a search-and-replace job with scripts I already did for Phijama's and VagabondAngel's stuff.

Not sure why Plangkye didn't contact me after all. If there's some problem with me doing this I can take it down. Or wait til the link expires if you prefer.

Edit: Oops, forgot to uncomment the addtopics. Should work now. :embarrass:
