Sigh... that show had so much potential to be hilarious, and then they didn't actually put any nerd humor into it. :(

I volunteered because she kinda looks like http://plangkye.deviantart.com/art/YARPC-Gyla-16055721.

Not sure how I'm going to add the daggers to the legs. I'll see what I can do, but they might end up not being there.

Any effort is highly appreciated, Plangkye, even without the daggers this is a great outfit, methinks ... :)

I'll start my texturing on this as soon as I figure out how to make those fingerless gloves.

They had a discussion about this in midgetalien's thread about a Leon Kennedy costume. From what I remember (being too lazy to find the link), because BB pants only take up the groin slot, you can just make the dagger holster and put it on the upper leg slot and it works out.

Could they not use the wrist slot?

Such a glove would still need to make use of the hand animations (fingerless still implicates attachment to a hand); such attachment to the wrist biped does not work (tried it and such results in a static hand sticking out from the wrist or a horrible clipping effect). In the past, such has been accomplished by making gloves whose fingers are textured for specific races and using scripts to activate which one would be used (by the player's race of choice). Typically, though, this does not take into account modded races; who could anticipate all the possible races in use by a certain player? What I would do is make a glove with "race"/skin textured fingers for each of the stock races (save for the lighter skinned humans/Breton, Imperial, Nord; for these I would make a texture that is the median of all of them and be done with it :D). Then I would make one that was all leather (for those that might not use a stock race). As this is more of an archer's glove rather than a fingerless glove, more skin would be necessary (so perhaps the BB hands can be incorporated in some way so as to simulate the glove (rather than using a glove mesh alone; saves a bit of texture work if one part points to the BB textures already :) ).

Just an idea about the twin sai (daggers), if you are making the shorts and sheaths as one and place them in the pants slot, you could use a script to replace the full sheaths with empty sheaths upon drawing them. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds feasible to me. Unfortunately, you won't get any reflections out of the MW animation bug. Making it race specific would be too much work. But then again...

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of you on that Sensei. The student has already found suitable sai meshes, garnered permission, and stands ready to add the necessary script to make it sheathe/unsheathe. I beleive it would be best to make it a shirt taking up the skirt slot as a groin body part, that way there would be no conflict with the greaves.

Just waiting on Plangkye....

It'll be at least a few days. I'm simultaneously trying to learn about particles in Blender, since Phijama can't figure out some issues with animating the billboards on Trueflame (which I have not forgotten by any means). Pity... I'd really have loved to use them on Hopesfire.

Come on now, Krod Mandoon was an "I come on right after South Park is over" show... doomed to fail from the beginning. That's when everyone turns off their TVs or switches over to the news. ;)

All the texture work is done. I'm now working on attaching the knives to the legs.
