Probably for a similar reason why they dont have Children in ES, for the rating and so people wouldn't abuse them in different ways.

Female or male, all undead will look the same.

Skeletons - Self-explanatory, they're skeletons.

Zombies - Rotting carcass, things fall off. Also, again, for the rating, they won't be using private parts nor boobs.

Etc, etc, etc.

A man's skeleton has broader shoulders than a woman's, a longer ribcage, and a pelvic girdle optimised for walking/running. A woman's skeleton has the same bone complement as a man's but is slightly smaller and less robust, with a wider pelvic opening to assist childbirth.

I wasn't speaking anatomically, lol. I was speaking generally in the sense that a skeleton looks like a skeleton, no matter the six. There's no reason to make gender specific skeletal-frames.

Oh, of course there isn't. But they wouldn't look the same is all I'm saying. If they were side by side you could tell. But why double the workload?

Obviously, the necromancers that raise the skeletons chose the strongest, manliest frames they could find because they were meant to do battle.

Glad we're on the same page, lol.

@Not No Orc

Lol right you are, sir. Right you are. It says so in necromancy books in Morrowind and perhaps Oblivion, as well, they're specific on what they'll use (if available.)

I remember in one necro-cave in Morrowind I went to, there was a book, don't remember the name. But it spoke all about necromancy, how to do it, what to use, the different levels, etc.

On The Perparation of The Corpse that would be. But I don't believe it ever made mention of gender.

No, but I was refering to choosing the proper/better items, which would be a male skeleton, versus a female. A female skeleton would be more "'fra-ge-lay', must be French." than a male skeletal frame/bones. Assuming, of course, in cases where the male body/skeleton has been increased in durability antemortem. Generally speaking, though, in necromancy, the male structure would be more suitable for durability sack, as well as power due to, again, antemortem exercise and etc.

I would like well endowed female skelies. That would be neat... and serve no purpose... but still....

Thank god for MODS!!!

*Heads over to the mod forums* :bolt:

So if we have female skeletons, what about the transsixual and hermaphrodite skeletons?!

I think that a more important issue here is why there aren't any beast race skeletons?
Where are all the undead Orcs, Argonains, Khajitts, etc?

LOL, I was not aware you could be funny, no offense. The other posts I've read from you are serious and informing. It's nice to see another side of your personality.

Transsixual? No such thing. Which leaves us with 3; male, female, hermaphrodite. Transsixuals don't like being called such. Either male or female. ;)

To take it to a serious note, however, don't you mean zombies*, not skeletons? ;) ;) (Okay, I'm still joking... lol)

@Mire -

That's an amazing thought. Yes, what about them? There should be. Though, for the sake of size, it's simpler to use 1 set of skeleton, period.

Yeah, but then you'd have to have the female skeletons with spray-on underwear, lest the ESRB freak out about unclad women running about. Even if there is no flesh to speak of anyway, I'm sure that wouldn't stop them from complaining. :P

They really have sticks up "in their attics." - Comment changed by the FCC.

Bloody controlling people. Can't even say BLEEP or BLEEP.

@Mire

Uh, not sure. I cannot remember which six it was, but it feels right; female. Look it up, maybe? I'm too lazy, atm. I'm eating tofu with some veggies in a sichuan sause with some kimchi. <3<3

Beast skeletons would be cool, but I think they'd have to be specific followers. Like a cult of Argonian necromancers with swamp-related rituals. I don't think most people would "get" it otherwise, and I think the typical human skeleton works from a fantasy monster standpoint.

Kajitt and Argonians would have a tail though, Kajitts would be long and Argonians would be smaller but wider.

This way they'd be easier to spot.

There are many deep reasons for the exclusion of female skeletons. I suggest you consult all of Vivec's Sermons, as well as the Real Barenziah. The Wolf-Queen should also assist in your academic pursuits of this topic.

Yes, but to the point that she only has a feminine name. She uses the same models as other liches, so she has no female sixual characteristics and thus looks masculine.

This bothers me way more than it should.

I mean, you'd at least think in Morrowind that the necromancers might find it easier to get ahold of Khajiit and Argonian slaves to experiment on.

Nonsense. The lack of undead females was a results of the appalling, consolitis-induced laziness of the developers who were determined to dumb down their game to the tune of the lowest denominator and make it safe for the kids. :grad:
