Fenway Park

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 1:55 am

I imagine myself coming upon the ruins of an old Baseball field with the half singed sign reading "WELCOME TO FENWAY PARK". Upon entering the ruins of the stadium we see a group of Raiders playing baseball with a ghouls head and limbs. Do you slip away unseen so as to pay homage to this great American pastime or do you raise your FATMAN to end this desecrative act?

You decide (cue music)... :teehee:

Unlikely to happen since Fenway Park is http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Diamond_City. It seems that the entire settlement will have a baseball theme, from weapons to armor. Should be interesting.

Hate to break it to you, but it's been known for a few months that the ruins of Fenway Park were converted into a place called Diamond City, a largish settlement.

Fenway Park is Diamond City in the game, isn't it?

I expect to hear all about the Bostonian 'warriors of yore' that were distinguished by their red socks with their unorthodox weapons of war.

BLAST! Well maybe the same scenario but in Diamond City then? Yah that's probably absurd.

Don't worry. Diamond City is actually a quarter-scale replica of Fenway Park located two blocks from the original. You can still have your dream come true!

I hope they sell only "stadium' type foods there. Beer, hotdogs, big pretzel, soggy tortilla chips in yellow cheese sauce, bags of old cotton candy.. mmmm' radiated glowing cotton candy. You can use it as a light source!

I'm looking forward to seeing Fenway Park.

Whilst I live in the UK, Fenway Park is the only baseball stadium I have visited.

I have been to one ball game in my life and it was there.

Guess that makes me a Red Sox supporter by default.

Foot long dog for me please... :D

I hope Diamond City is at war with another former ballpark-turned-city to the south in an urban jungle wasteland known as the "Evil Empire".

lol I was thinking the same thing. As a Yankee fan I would love to find the old home plate area in Diamond City and take a nice leak.

Seeing as baseball is THE most boring game invented in the history of the Earth, I certainly hope not. I'd rather watch senior citizens walk up a hill with the wind in their face as it would be more high pace intensity.

Though I can understand your viewpoint I would disagree about it being THEE most boring (I love baseball but understand this opinion). I'd say Golf holds this honor (not to be confused with Mini-golf which is one of the BEST, lol).

For the sake of argument, I gleefully choose option two.

Mini-Golf is a suberb drinking activity, but I'd hesitate calling it a sport, lol

DANG-IT! And here I thought to myself "At least I've mastered one sport in my lifetime". Well, I guess Fallout will have to do.

I'm pretty sure me and my cousin are the only Yankee fans in MA. And we love it when the Bosox get rocked.

I saw my first game of Baseball last year in the Flesh (It was a Mets game, which apparently if you are a foreigner the first home team you see is now 'your team'.

I must admit, some of the music was better than the game and all I remember was a lot of umpires.. a lot. Also people stealing bases and that nearly every players name ended in 'ez'. Wasnt my favorite sporting event.

Anyway looking forward to seeing the Baskeball themed Diamond City. Just realised its basically a Month to go!
