I'm not saying that... Just that if they werent there at all it wouldnt be right.
The mutants in Tactics kinda seemed a bit forced to me, and I think walking all the way to DC would seem even more so.
I agree them being there in some form or another would have been fitting. But another army, another pre-war hive of FEV for them to originate from, it's all too convenient. Again, the remnants could have driven to DC with more FEV, it's been established the Master's Army had use of vehicles, and with two centuries to act, there would be more than enough consistency in their DC presence.
I should also mention that the Master's FEV (FEV2) was the result of much tweaking and perfecting for the desired results and for a lesser result of utter failure. If we are to assume that the Vault 87 FEV is pre-war, and likely the pure strain, then why are the results very smiliar to the ones of the master? It was also estalished that such results came from direct and luxurious contact with the substance, there were no vats that I could see in Vault 87. Therefore the FEV was either applied in the air, or injected into the subject, both methods often unsuccessful compared to dipping. And without vats, how then do centaurs exist in DC, as they are a direct result from litterally throwing all manner of creatures into a vat, mixing them around, and hoping for the best. I also fail to see how, considering the lack of intelligence of all mutants in DC (except the more friendly ones, strangely enough), they could have continued to understand the research and application of such a process.
I definitely have not. Unless you care to explain yet again that you demand fact in relation to FEV staying at Mariposa, yet will accept any loose thread that places it at Vault 87.
