First off, I cant see any of the npcs. When I started the campeign I was greeted by voices and but no charcter models. Second bug(not rlly a bug but problem) my game keeps crashing when I click customize for multiplayer. Fairly new system(gift from christams)

anyone else having this problem?

I'm having something similar, I start up the game it runs perfectly fine the first 2-4 minutes then my fps goes from 60 to 19 to 4? and then stays that way rendering the game unplayable in single player I haven't been able to even really play the game period yet I'm bummed

lol I cant even SEE anyone. Right now Im stuck In the first 30 seconds(literally) with a voice screaming cmon to me. Honestly, I would accept all the multiplayer glitches for now if I could play campeign, but I just spent 6 hrs downloading this game and I cant play it cause of how glitchy it is. Even is my serial code "wasnt in use" from what Ive heard the servers are pretty bad too. Im unaware if anyone at crytec tried this, but they should get a normal computer, not a supercomputer from the office, go far away from the server hosts and see how well the game runs. I just cant fathom that they missed so many bugs, for what I can tell, for PC. Im about to give up on PC gaming because everygame I get, there is a massive problem and I end up spending money on something I cant play.

Same here. Just got the game through steam, finally gave up on trying to use my gamesas account to logon since that kept screwing up. Skipped that option just to TRY the campaign and voila, no character models??? What the hell.

Mine starts out running smoothly and then part way through the intro cut scene (submarine escape) my screen just goes black and my monitor says "vga-no signal"

Going to try again (will be the third time) with lower graphics settings and see if that makes any difference. I ran the multiplayer demo just fine on its highest settings, so I'm not sure if this will help any.


Edit: Now tried campaign 4 times. Had my screen black out and get the no video signal message all 4 times at various points in the opening scene. The longest I made it was the very first time and I had just gotten out of the sub and to the surface. The following 3 tries were all prior to that. Combined with the "serial code in use" message on the multiplayer, this game is currently unplayable.

I truly am starting to doubt the reliability of steam now. Im also realizing that its almost pointless to buy a pc game now that devs are turning their backs on us. If you buy a console game, there may be a few solvable hiccups, but NEVER EVER a game breaking bug such as these. But if you buy the same game for pc, its riddled with unsolved bugs.
