FEW, EVE issue.

I am having an issue with the Fallout wanderer's edition and Energy Visuals enhanced. The foip patch for eve was outdated and didn't work for the new EVE. However, someone posted a fix in the comments and said I should remove the old and insert the new. I did so and it fixed the crash I had on startup of Fallout 3 with eve on. (without fwe - eve patches it worked.) But I now have an issue I encountered some time ago as well. The slides at the beggining of Fallout 3 appear,but the darnui button in the bottom left corner does not, and neither does the main menu. Any idea on how to resolve this?

I don't see your merged patch there...

Are all your FWE/EVE/MMM/WMK/Darn files up to date as of the last 2 weeks? I ask because I have installed the game plus redownloaded these mods 2 weeks ago and things are working well. There was one FOIP esp I couldn't find- Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE with EVE.esp- but it seems it's not needed any more.

The FWE documentation says not to load various optional MMM esp's... some of which are in your list. The latest MMM has an in-game menu to choose which of the new creatures are included... though I'm uncertain how both FWE and MMM in game menus interact together- FWE states that it can control MMM options from its menu and makes no mention of MMM's menu. But in my game the FWE menu does not detect MMM under "Supported Mod Configs", however, the separate MMM menu works fine. I suspect that an update to MMM's menu removed FWE detection...

Try reinstalling/redownloading Darn and be sure to get the hotfix. :shrug:

I got it all worked out, it turns out I didn't have the new foip patch when I thought I did. It's working now.
And now I worked so hard to get EVE to work, and It turns out I don't like it. The effects are either unspectacular or way overdone and there's changes to enemies and power armor I HATE. Oh well.
